Flew my E720, had it mothballed as no one wanted to buy it and it's now a dinosaur but the crap no flying weather recently meant I had to find something to do, found a new set of 8711's and a good BLS251 and Ice 120HV in my parts box, V Bar Silverline with V Control. No probs no messing with settings at the field it just flew great.

Maiden flight of the Chronos today, first flight just hovering and flight forward and the tail case moved from 90 deg to 110 deg on flight. Managed to bring it down tightened the bolt clamp and loctite. Second flight, one of the canopy lock at the back came off in flight again. Landed and took off. I was beginning to think that this heli has lots of gremlins showing from the start. Third flight was uneventful, the settings I copied directly from the 7hv to make them fly the same proved to be too much for this heli because of better head geometry. Agility of 12 on HC3SX felt like it was on 15, I have to tone it down to 10 which is more like the 7hv feel. The tail as well needed to be adjusted as there is a bit of kick on exiting upright funnel. Finally, on the last lipo I manage to enjoy 5 minutes of pure pleasure flying this heli. The geometry they have changed on the head made a lot of difference on flight characteristics.

Congrats on getting the Chronos in the air. Maidening a new heli is always a great experience, at least when it goes smoothly.
I got three flights in on my new Goblin 770.. It was very windy but I was determined to get at least some flying in because the next few days look like a complete write off with gusts over 60mph

2015 must go down as the windiest year on record, if records are kept for such things?

Did the maiden on my Compass 550 Ultimate this morning also in less than favourable conditions.

It flew amazing off the bat and I think it will be a worthy opponent to my Logo 550SX.

Compass helis are just awesome,and I will really enjoy this one alongside my 6 and 7 HV Ultimates.

Yes, 3 on the 700e and the U/I sensor worked perfectly and 2 on the 700n. Cold today but nice to get out, oh and really liking the Vbar Control second time round lol

This weather is seriously ticking me off. I've a 450 to try after a rebuild before my confidence really nose dives as the 450 did a few weeks ago on only its 5th battery. I've a couple of days to go before I disappear for a month or so so time is quickly running out. I haven't the bottle, skill or bank account to try in anything other than still calm weather so my chance of flying are akin to winning the lottery. Bah! Now I understand the frustrations I read about last year while still hovering my nano in my living room.

Had 4 flights at the field today, 3 on the 690SX and 1 on the 550SX. The 690 had its re maiden with the NEO and VControl and then some adjustment flights to get the tail, style and agility dialled in. Getting the tail dialled in would of been quicker if I had used the tail gain and not the rota gain! Poxy neck strap was in the way of the screen. The 550 feels excellent and I even got to try a new manoeuvre out! Now to get the 690 feeling the same!

Had a brilliant couple of flights on the beach in Blackpool yesterday! Really long, flat and empty! I just kept doing hight speed inverted passes 2ft off the floor for hundreds of metres!! I may have sandblasted the tips of the blades getting too low though!

had a very quick session with the Protos Mx V2 today. All 10 packs done back to back without even switching my transmitter off in between! It's now sporting the optional carbon fibre boom and white frame.







Absoloutely loving this thing, I was gutted when I ran out of lipos and had to go home!

Nice heli mate,not sure on the white frames though,think I prefer the black ones or they would look good yellow to match the canopy.I need that many batterys it would keep going all day with my 550.

Got 5 flights in today. But then the quad guys turned up so since I had no hope in getting any decent flying done from then on I decided to go test driving cars instead
