I flew yesterday and today. It was a bit blustery yesterday but there were a few sunny intervals and it didn't rain.

A great afternoon today. It was sunny, as usual and little wind.


I got in 8 flights 4 with each of the 600 and the 700. I had a small mishap. I have been practicing landing with the power off, not true autos, just using the blade speed to land gently. I was cutting the throttle, first from about 6 ft , then 10 ft then about 15 ft. I slightly misjudged the last one and clipped a few weeds at the edge of the flightline. One of the dfc links came off and a blade dented my nice polished tail boom. Otherwise there doesn't seem to be any damage. Mike 365 wasn't so lucky, he had a couple of in's but the damage could have been worse.

Took my Logo 600 to test the tail again, see if I'd done enough. Still a slow wag. I have one more thing to try that another club member did that cured his.

So, those batteries were put to good use in my aging Trex 500.
On a calm day like today (<10mph wind), it really is a cracking machine.

Stripped and replaced the clutch liner on my 700N at the weekend, not how long they are supposed to last I think this one had around 200 flights.

I had an excellent day today. It was a bit breezy but I achieved 10 flights and no crashes. It was mostly sunny, as usual at MK, with some dark clouds on a couple of occasions but pleasantly warm.

We had a good turnout including quadders.

6 flight son my logp 550sx in Nomansland St Albans ..
goblin 380 was tested after a crash couple weeks back and has a tail vibe ..
think tail output shaft took a slight hit ..
need to replace ..
dare I say it I then flew my Multiplex stunt master plane ��

A very nice Saturday at MK, surprisingly busy considering the forecast of wind. 27 flights and getting far too confident with the low stuff. Dangerous times
