Well i went to the field armed with the Logo but what a waste of time. Somehow in 16 months of being on the shelf the tracking has gone way out & i could not get them to track at all. I spent 20 min popping into a hover & landing again. Not only do i have gremlins living in my garage I also have them in the heli room too.Yes the big sigpic is coming back

Easy way To fix tracking; digital pitch gauge, make sure the blades are at the same pitch at a given direction,(I use blade straight back) I.e. Move sticks to 0 pitch. Move first blade parallel to boom, check pitch. Swing blades around to check other blade in the same place. See which is nearest to 0 and adjust the other one to that.

I was at the field without a pitch gauge so i used the fold blades together method & adjust till level but they were impossible to get level. Regardless of method used at the time i'm more curious as to how it would be out by so much when it was spot when i last flew. Just for the record they're Century Funkey 560mm (Rotortechs). I could do with some scales to balance them aswell although they've always been fine till today.Yes the big sigpic is coming back

Well 3 packs flown today & that's it, i'm out of the game till i don't know when?? so it could very well be another 16 months before i pick up the TX again. Earlier today i went to top yesterday's pack up & as the balance lead brushed past the balance plug adaptor board it sparked. The lipo at this point was not plugged into anything. I then plugged it in & i get error 70. I've no idea what has happened but it means i cannot charge any packs & atm i am not spending out on a new charger. Even the bike positive lead caught fire on sunday with no shorts or exposed wires, just decided to explode. Oh well, i was just getting my flying thumbs back earlier too by the 3rd pack.Yes the big sigpic is coming back

First flight in ages (one pack on the warp 360). Must be about 5 months since i last had a moment to myself and did something for me. 2 minutes in and the motor dies for a split second and the ESC goes into respool. All fine as i had plenty of height and i manage to get the power back on and then land. Sats are solid, no loose connections or solder joints, so carry on. No more power losses, but when i finish the battery the sats are now flashing!?!?! whats that all about??
Remember having a similar issue with the last flight of the summer, but cannot for the life of me remember if it was with the warp or not. Suspect it was, so shall look at that first rather than the Tx.
Other 3 batteries generated some hot air on discharge mode

My first thought is static.Originally posted by Jez N View PostFirst flight in ages (one pack on the warp 360). My Warp was fine, from when I got it in summer 2013, 'til the middle of 2014 when I'd suddenly lose power for no apparent reason. Over and over.
Sure enough, as soon as I bonded the boom to the frame (and checked it with a meter), all the problems went away. I followed this post here: HeliFreak - View Single Post - Grounding tail boom?
You might also need to sand off some of the paint on the boom to match where it contacts in the boom block.Last edited by bigpops; 03-02-2015, 09:53 PM.Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

think I have a logo static kit somewhere. Might cannibalise that. Good thought that it may be static. Hadn't considered it tbh. Never even silicones the belt. May try that as well.Originally posted by bigpops View PostMy first thought is static.

Flew after some more V-bar tweaking but it's still not to my liking. It was fine with good strong packs but now i'm constantly chasing a happy medium. It just keeps having an annoying cyclic wobble & taking the gain down to 70 improved it a bit but it's still there, & going higher makes it un-flyable. I didn't really enjoy my flights today
I was flying poo & i wasn't getting any buzz out of it either almost to the point of finding it dare i say 'boring'
. & that's an EEK not a laughing smiley as it always appears to be these days.
