I flew my 150dfc. Then messed it up right into the building I was stood next too. Damn. Broken swash ball put an end to the session. I was going to put the metal one on anyway I guess.

Really need to get some sim time in.

Had 4 flights on the 500Pro DFC up the field with Forza this afternoon. Still a little bit windy for my liking but kept on and got some inverted practise in.

Getting more and more stable once inverted. Still a few "panic" moments but I feel I'm improving every flight. Its good getting encouragement from Forza (thanks).

Thanks to Forza for taking the pics of the inverted hovers and the back of my shiney head.

Took the mcpx into the front garden done 3 batteries doing slow figure of 8 and circles.
Inserted 4th battery and started getting cocky and upped the pace a little more and well lost control hit the fence then fell onto the only concrete slab in the garden!

Broke tail boom, swash plate, main frame and linkage rods opps!!

Did I fly ohhhh yes we did me mark went out from 1pm this afternoon.
And wow done 8/9 flights on 500 5 flights on 450 had a bit of a moment with the 500 as one of my batteries went flat rather quickly saved my 500 by the skin of my teeth
Mark done well with his new 700 what a awesome bit of kit well done mate he even did some cutting grass
at 5pm we both finished but had time for a go on my new wing both done really well on .
What a afternoon just brilliant thanks mark.
PS next time IL try do some grass cutting

be careful with the wheelspin web site, it may say in stock but they haven't got any
after placing the orderand paying for them last week they got back to me yesterday saying they'd need to backorder them

but i made an inquiry at fastlads to see if they had any as they were not listed on their web site
i had an email telling me they'd ordered in some and a link to get them, they came yesterday
you can't get any better

the ones from wheelspin will be had for any future unplanned arrivals

Flew 4 packs on the 7hv trying to sort out how the yge shutdown last outing. Had a brown trouser moment when I flip heli inverted around 5ft high and the yge decides to cut power in about 1-2 seconds. Ninja fingers came into action and recovered the heli. Now, no shutdowns. I tried my best within my abilities to make it shutdown, continuous flips, rolls, inverted punchouts and some long range rainbows. Sad to say that mu gopro screw which was mounted on the skid decided to let go while inverted and damaged my revolution blades.. Anyways, replaced it with the spin/kbdd combo for this flying season. I hope no more mishaps.

Today was the day the Goblin had its maiden! Started off with a quick hover and then went up again, after my legs stopped shaking, for a longer hover. I can't believe the difference in feeling from the 500. The Goblin felt so light in the air and the tail was smooth and precise. The belt feels a lot better over the torque tube on the 500. Shame I only had 2600mAh batteries today (pinched from the 500) otherwise I would have been a bit more daring!

Thanks to Forza for being an extra set of eyes and to check everything was working as it should.

Also had 3 flights on the 500 DFC. Had a bit of a moment when I went inverted and I think this put me on the back foot for the rest of the flights.

Another great day flying in the sun

Julius, I am sorry for your mishap mate.

I think it's worth to check out the flight pack you were using during the shutdown, maybe a cell or cells going bad.

I flew that pack first yesteday Michal, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. Bought these packs brand new and never abused them.After 5.30 mins flight on 2000hs packs always comes down at around 3.83-3.85 each. Internal resistance looks good. I never had this problem with my hobbywing esc. I set the cut off of the yge to 2.9 to be sure. Will be flying again later on so hopefully no more untowards mishaps.

Good idea to set low cut off voltage. I set the low cut off voltages on my esc's as low as possible.
