Despite the 20min rain intervals, had a super morning, 500 was just incredible, this is the first time I taken the 450 to the field and not taken it out the box.

Managed to get out for a few hours yesterday, it was a little windy but not too bad.

I picked up a 2nd hand mcpx v2 to take away on work trips or give to my son and then I bought a cheap 2nd hand dx6i just to fly the thing. The dx5 I'm using in the photo is actually for a quad RTF kit I've built n sold to a work colleague in India. But as yet we've not managed to meet to hand over. so I'm using the dx5 as I've not setup the dx6 yet. All confusing and if I was to die my wife would discover shit loads of rc stuff in my cupboards right now.

managed 2 minutes today.
convinced the missus to get out the house with the wee one in the pram. i had just done a flyby when the missus started freaking out, so had a harder landing than usual resuling in stripped torque tube gears. Why was she freaking out? tiny spider on the pram. jeebus fecking hek!!

Tonight once the rained cleared it was lovely blue skies and manage 8 packs on the 600 with some new cheap blades and it was awesome (edge they ain't ) but still had a nice blade fart. And also binned my 450 again. Not had a crash in almost a year and binned the 450 pro for the third time in a fortnight. It went in quite hard and fast into long grass attempting piro flips and only damage is main gear ( go figure) I honestly though oh crap there goes yet another set of dfc links but happy days not touched. Them gorilla skids are worth their weight in gold lol

Until you crash hard sideways, then they are crap lol. If you can auto the 450 & you go from stock rigid landing gear to gorilla you can really notice the difference on landings

Flew today....wish I hadnt....flew the Logo inverted into a tree due to my lack of depth preception......DOH.....some kids offered to climb up at get it which was a result......gave them a tenner....and very minimal damage to the heli.
