I got to maiden my logo and it was Sweeeeet

Well the sky was clear this morning and had 8 flights. 4 with Oxy3 and another 4 with the Protos 380.
Great backyard flyers.

5 flights on the 600L. Spoke to another heli flyer at the club and he gave me some really good pointers for my loop. I saw a really good improvement straight away.

What i was doing, was i thought i had the first quadrant sorted, but then the second and third are too tight, and once inverted the heli jsut stops.

So the advice was that i am loosing too much forward speed in the first quadrant, tighten up that, a bit less collective movement, and manage it on the elevator.

A few circuits and stall turns. First flight of 2017!

A great day in the fog! 5 members had a hearty breakfast followed by lots of flying. Logos, Goblins, Align 600N and my trusty Synergy N5C.

2 Flights E700 first flights of new year, sky was horrible overcast but mild and no wind. 2 flights 2017 lol

not flown for 5 years until last weekend learning to fly again sucks LOL tank through the 700 and velocity 50 last weekend and 2 packs through the fusion 50 yeah i still rock the Outrage heli's ;0)

Some nice flowing flying there mate. Really interesting smooth transitions. Especially with the Protos...imo the king of little helis

Both of them are excellent helis. You don't need to put much effort to move the P380.
I usually fly the Oxy3 at 3100rpm and there it flows better. It was designed to fly at much higher rpm's, so its a big plus to perform like that at 2600.

I must say i am loving that slow head speed. Smooth is best. I much more appreciate that kind of flying than stick bangin. I run my 600L at 2200 and i thought that was slow!!

Thats exactly the kind of flying i aspire to do, but a long way off still!

Too cold to fly today. i did try but after one flight I'd lost feeling in my fingers, so i gave up before frozen fingers caused a crash.
