Few evening flights yesterday, let the practise for AIR begin

6 flights on trex 550l just fitted speed fuselage all went well also 4 flights on trex 600dfc

Had 4 flights on my little HiSKY HCP100S again today. Then I crashed it with seemingly a bad servo. I think something got stuck in the gears and jammed them up when I flew into the grass. The little servo motor was scalding hot.

I took it home, powered it back up, and it's working again. Did some hover practice in the garden to make sure.

What a machine! I'm seriously thinking of buying another for spare. The thought of waiting a week for a servo was not a pleasant one. And for <£60 it just can't be beat. Think mCPX BL, but better.

Finally got to maiden the Goblin 380 yesterday at the field. Had a tail issue which was found out to be linked to the head speed (3350rpm) I was running. It fly's very well and just needs a little tweaking to get it how I like it. First impressions are very good. The video is of Tony putting it through its paces after helping with the tail.


Also had 4 flights on the 550SX going over the basics, rolls, flips and inverted flight. This is a great heli.

Had my first fly since 3 months ago due to have surgery! had 6 flights on the 380, first 2 I nearly put it in as I haven't even been on the sim but after that I was fine

Well I have to leave the field at 11 so no point wasting the morning

few issues today though. Forgot the tools and the belt was too loose on the 550sx so only got one flight on it. Then on the second flight on the ballistic found the swash followers have play in them. Everything home safe though and 7 enjoyable flights so can't complain

Fantastic day flying down at North Notts Model Flying Club, superb weather and had some great flights with the Trex 550 & 700, happy days

Quite windy at Slough club, took 450 pro out, smashed it into the ground inverted after a full rebuild yesterday, checked radio, forgot to do idle up throttle curves...DOH gutted! all servos gone,tail bent, main blade grips snapped etc.! Gaui X5 flew awesome... but only had 2 flights as was bummed with my stupid mistake on the 450.....PUB!
