I put another 4 through my 600, ended up stretching a flight out to 7 minutes! A cold and stiff thumb made it difficult to land on my last pack. Put 2 more through my 450 too and almost binned that, I'd lost orientation with the overcast sky just caught it inches off floor lol.

I've got some videos of todays antics just waiting on my mate uploading them.

Well I did 4 packs through my 500 with some practicing of circuits and fine tuning of the new BRAIN which was fitted yesterday, then I was time to maiden my new LOGO 600sx, beautiful heli, set up so good by my pal Jim, a few little fine turning to the BRAIN and I took control. Wow what a bird, a lot less intimidating than my old gobby, but still a lot of respect needed. Didn't really do much with her, lazy 8's and just gettingt a feel for how she handled, plus hands were getting cold and found it hard to feel the sticks. Looking froward to weather getting better and warmer and flying her again. Hope you all had good flights too

3 flights on the 150. After sorting the landing gear with carbon rod, new A swash and upgrading the tail mount... It goes really well in the air now and took two big impacts with no damage apart from a slight split in the canopy. Flips really well for a micro and the piro comp is really cool.

May have to take back some of the bad things I said about it

My right turns need a bit of work but for only starting to fly properly since June I don't think I'm doing too bad. I don't half love it though today was just a bit of fun.

Temps were flitting between 0 & -1 this was my last pack with numb thumbs which shows at the end trying to control a hover for landing lol.

Had a nice little session this morning up in the Ridgeway! 4 batteries through the 550 and 3 flightson the DJI F330 making sure the GPS position hold and return to home failsafe work, they did!! I switched my tx off and the thing just came back and landed exactly where I took off from!!

It freaked me out to start with! I flicked the position hold switch and let go of the sticks and the thing leaned into the wind and remained within a 1mtr/sq box!! I have set position 3 for return to home as well as having it as my failsafe. I flew it off down the field where it would have a very soft landing if it didn't work, switched the TX off and it lifted up to 20ft or so then flew back and landed at my feet!! These things are quite an important safety feature for flying FPV which I have yet to try!

Had two flights on the 550dfc today, but it was bitter cold and after two I decided to quit while I was ahead (one of those days, just not really feeling it)

Well today sucked!! took the new quad out again to get a feel for it and went and lost it!! I forgot to set the timer for a shorter flight and the Naza was set to land the quad before low volt cutoff and it did just that!! It landed in a field and I either miss-judged where it landed or kept walking right past it but after over an hour of searching it wasn't found!

On the upshot I had 2 really awesome flights on the 550!

Well haven't flew my bhk trex 500 since before xmas so my good friend mark wondered if I fancy going out wasn't to shore about going but god I was so glad I did. Had one go on mcpx and felt good then went on hbk king man it felt really good then the 500 WOW flew it reallyreally good iv altered the Spektrum AR7200BX I moved the Cyclic Response to Increased as it was on normall and man she seems so much better now

Yes, for a laugh I flew a Parkzone Spitfire - tiny little thing, It has a three axis gyro for stability.Bloody thing was mega unstable and a real pig to fly - could hardly keep it in the air.
Got it down to find the elevator gyro wiggled the rudder and the rudder gyro wiggled the elevator, despite the stick responses being correct......

A quick bit of pottering around on the beach today and a coffee and then back to work. In the mornings the beach is empty but it's not at all an ideal place to fly for a number of reasons, one of which is that sand gets everywhere.
