Hey.

No, unfortunately not. You can use DSMX sats but they will default to DSM2 protocol for now. I would imagine a future upgrade may bring full DSMX support. However, with Aligns recent partnership with Futaba would spektrum continue to be developed for future FBL controller integration?

That would be massively short sighted on Aligns part. I bet 50% of their customers are Spectrum users (and rising) I love my 3GX unit but it does have a lot of bad press, to stop development for Spectrum compatibility would be the last nail in the coffin for Align flybarless controllers.

Hey.

Yes, it would be a shame if spektrum support did stop because of this new venture. I'm sure it will not happen, but it prompts you to think this sort of thing could take place when a company gets involved with another radio manufacturer. I'm sure a lot of exciting things will come out of this joint venture though.

Yeah, the 3GX is a great unit once setup. It's considered to be difficult to setup by a few, but I've never thought this to be the case and actually feel it's quite straight forward once you've done it once or twice.
