Hey All.
After making my own and having some interest expressed in making up these Vbar Bluetooth modules for other people, I have decided to offer this same service to anyone who may desire one themselves without all the hassle involved.
What you will get is one of the much talked about Ebay BT modules all setup and ready to plug into your mini or full size Vbar, with all wires plugged in and ready to connect via a single or split connection to the Vbar unit (depending on servo voltage used).
*Update* New HV version in testing with a voltage regulator onboard to drop 2s LiPo to a safe voltage for the module. This version will suit the nitro govenor user's to save running a Y lead from the Sensor II port.
Picture attached with a 2s LiPo attached to the module, I will cycle the LiPo to keep this running for some time to check for excess heat build up and keep checking the modules connectivity inbetween.
I will write a custom name and bluetooth passcode of your choosing, before posting out first class recorded post.
Some information I will need is;
1. A name for BT unit, needs to be "VBar_something" or VBarSomething"
2. A BT Pass/Pin code, needs to be 4 digits, eg. 1234 etc.
3. What voltage is going to the Vbar unit?
If above 6 volts I split the power wires off into another servo plug for connection into the govenor port or anywhere whioch can supply 6 volts or less.
4. Is the Vbar a full or mini type? This is the help with the above question mainly.
I can make these for £20.50 all in, including postage first class recorded.
HV version will be a little more to cover extra component and time needed to produce them, I will add price when I am 100% happy.
