Sorry for going slightly OT but at the top you mention the much talked about BT unit. Can anyone point me to some further information or discussions on using them in projects please?
I do quite a lot of messing about with Arduino's, logic analysers, general DIY around that kind of stuff and when I read this thread the other day I saw the eBay link and thought it would be really handy for something (totally non heli related). Well, today it turned up (nice and quick!) from the eBay seller and I'm damned if I can remember what I was thinking I'd use it for / in / with when I clicked the BIN button

Hey Martin.
Sorry mate, other than helicopter use on the Vbar I wouldn't know. I can guess they are used on robots to send/receive information/commands, but as to other uses I suppose with the right knowledge almost anything could be made wireless. Just the other night I was wondering if I could wireless my vinyl cutter with one :-)
It might be worth starting a thread in the off topic section to see what anyone else may have or is doing with BT modules.
