Hey Harry.

Not at all mate, I appreciate you taking the time to let others know yours is running ok from a LiFe pack.

The module specs recommend no more than 6 volts input, but some like Harry above run upto 7 volts with no problems. However this is done at your own risk, I will supply the module with one connector to Vbar only or two with a separate power connector to tap off the full size vbars regulated servo/governor ports. Or from a step down of some description.
For the future I am looking at incorporating a resistor into the main power wires to allow a single connection for all power systems.

Pretty sure you'll find the servo port is not regulated from Blueline onwards, it may be on earlier models but not on the more recent ones, only the sensor port is regulated.

Thanks Mark, your right it is only the sensor II port which outputs 3.3 volts. The servo port must get the same voltage as other servos.
I will amend my printed instructions.

Heads up to all HV users of my Bluetooth modules, please plug your separate power supply plug into the sensor II port only for the regulated 3.3 volts supply. It has been brought to my attention (thanks Mark) that the servo port is not regulated.

Thanks Coolice got my bluetooth up and running. The module from you connected straight up perfect but had a few issues with the Vbar bluetooth software not opening on my PC, Think I need a new computer. Anyway was a fairly easily fix and all is running. Can highly recommend.

I still didnt manage to put it on ... I am lazy .. not worried though as I think Ian will sort any issue with it happily if there are any at all ... cheers mate

Yikes dont tell Ian mine is running off 2s lipo so often reads over 8v!

Does the module get warm? I think I've read some others have run them on 2s, but it's a gamble if it will survive or not.
I'm looking into being able to supply the modules with a voltage regulator already fitted for HV setups, not ordered the components to try yet though.

However I've got 4 on order currently, 3 left as spares ;-)

I had this

And Rainer from the Vstabi forum sent me this one which fixed it. My PC is well overdue for replacement.

-not where it is mounted directly under the Goblin 700 DFC head - hope I don't get a bluetooth strike !
