Half the problem with small helis tails letting go is not the gyro but because of the head being loaded, a decay in head speed and so a loss of power from the tail, the 250 i think its half its problem, the 450 can be the same if you bog it

Re: Which gyro to go for.

I got a 750 on my pro and must say I'm impressed with it and it is only with a 420.

It was second hand so maybe the guy before me had spent ages fiddling with it as all I done was played for a few flights withthe gain the it's all good but only on a real high head speed. I don't even fly it now less than 100% as it does feel loose till I flip that switch then you see the tail do a little twitch then it's in

I've had three 520's now & I've been delighted with all of em'
Hold very well, a dream to set up, nice and small so unobtrusive. They just work!!
        Cheers,

Biggest prob on small helis is an overpowerful tail. They are that powerful you have to run the gain real low and they blow out at the first opportunity.

Am i the first to vote for other?? Im using Spartans not the Quark

hmmm always told the csm 720 was mr
whippy when it came to tail setups.
Martin, whoever told you that is a total idiot

ever seen Mr Osbourne's tail do any whipping? There's a reason for that

CSMs are the king of piro and anybody tells you different has either never flown one or is just repeating some bull they read from someone else whose never flown one. They also aren't difficult to setup, it's just the names of the parameters and what they do can be a bit confusing at first, a few quick questions on here and you'd go set one up in 10 minutes without any problem at all.

Re: Which gyro to go for.

I have a quark to try as well to.

At that price it would have been rude not to lol
