Thanks Tony, I think Dan may have a video but it was just of rough flying (first flight of the day!), and also my first with a governor. The governor does seem to help a bit, but to be honest cyclic mixing helped a great deal as well when I was without one .

I now have MKS brushless HV servos on cyclic and a Futaba BLS HV on tail so running on direct 2S Optipower Lipo. The Spektrum servos were great it was just I had an issue with the regulator and rather run 2S direct than risk another failure.

I am still waiting on a starter so still not had that many flights on her. I have found 710s are a bit too much so I now have some 690mm Revolution FBL blades ready to go.

        And lol swale

True but the Raptor G4 has a massive hub which sticks the blades out really far. I haven't measured it at all but 690s should act more like 700s . Best of both worlds hopefully!

What kinda weight is this model, how do u think it would perform with a 90 in instead of the 105?

The kit specs are 4400g fully equipped, I don't have scales accurate enough to measure I'm afraid.

I have flown one with a .91 engine in and it seems to perform nicely, this was an OS .91 HZ-R engine. The main difference is when you are really heavily loaded the larger engines keep the headspeed up better.

Seemed powerful enough to me, so is there a real need for these big block engines? That looked perfectly capable to me!

and that was running under powered due to the heat, video has been moved to its own thread for ease
