I can't recall but does the E7 have 2 holes at the bottom of the main shaft?

Got the bottom Jesus bolt in the right hole?

yes it does have 2 holes at the bottom and one at the top, the head has three holes and you need to use the centre one !

think i found the problem peeps and it is an expensive one!

the digital gauge in my iphone appears to be shot, i borrowed the mrs phone and it reads 5 deg more per axis than mine-back to apple store this week me thinks.

i've ended up with roughly 12.5 each way but the vbar is teetering close to the 100-110 in collective and cyclic menu but it is what it is.

fwiw i've put the head on top hole so i can run it as low as it will go-i'll call ade tomorrow and get more 78mm rods to run it in middle hole as per manual.

anyway-cracking on-nice bit of kit this

            cheers

yes ross, build is back on.

is anyone running theirs on the lowest head setting?

also any vbar owner care to double check what their pitch/cyclic is at-as i said mines is circa 100-110 running 12.5 ish deg of pitch.

                cheers

thanks for help guys, and big up to Ben for the loan of the packs to see what i will prefer.

it's ready to go although i would like the wiring neater but alas-not much ye can do. important thing is nothing will rub on carbon so it's good to go!

very happy bunny and looking forward to this one.

FWIW ade sent me the longer balls for the swash but i'll try it out the box first and see how i fair.

basically longer balls you can use on the swash to get more cyclic and probably a degree or 2 more pitch at best.

PLEASE NOTE- you need to trim the threads a little or it will foul on the ball in the centre of the swash.

Just checked my cycLic/pitch, it's at 100 also and that 12/12 and that's on the middle hole

The long ball modification is the same modification we utilise for the N5/N5C?

CGY750 – Want Faster Cyclic Response out of N5c?
If you find the cyclic percentages are very high and the roll and tumble rate are still not fast enough, there is an option! Instead of using the short ball(107-106) on the inner swash, try using the long ball(107-108). These are the balls that connect to the pitch links.* IMPORTANT!! If you perform this modification, make sure you trim approximately 1mm of threads off the long ball with a file or Dremel Tool. If you do not trim the threads they will bind with the swash ball housing causing the swash to feel very still.

Another option is to try different set of blades. Unfortunately not all FBL blades are created equally and some have their limits to which no matter how high you turn the swash AFR’s the helicopter will not move any faster.
                              Thanks!
