one replaced , two tested and to be honest a lot faster than I thought

my car was getting fixed last wednesday, and they gave me one of there cars to run about in wile mine was in for the day, first thing i did was contact my insurance and get it fully covered, it took 30mins or so as they wanted more details than normal but once done did not cost me any more but i was covered fully in case of a prang. i think people forget that being fully comp on there car only allows you ti drive some one else 3ed party :/

anyways glad to here it was a up side for you

Sunday was such a perfect day Blue sky's , no wind and not to cold so it was off to the field with a car full of heli's , well two anyway Dave & Rexy (my 700 le )
I had a walm up flight with Rexy which was difficult to start but it was -5 then out came the big guns it was Dave's turn.

I was definatly more confident this time , I even left the canopy on for the first flight so out to the patch and lift off,........
that was it no drama , he didn't tip over or glitch he just flew perfect tracking and silky smooth no vibes at all.

initial impressions he is a big boy with an impressive pressence in the air not scarey just protective , sort of confidence inspiring It was immediatly apparent that Dave will be me my new best friend

He feels totally locked in , I did a couple of climb outs and there was no interaction or correction he just go's straight up and straight down , even if I induced a piroette at the same time i wasn't aware of any correction going in , wow so that's what a locked in heli feels like , pure class

I passed the tx around as the tank is so huge it goes on forever
There was some missing from the engine an OS91HZ that follow on flights haven't cleared up but that's not Daves fault.

I started off with 35 % expo on the cyclics and reduced that until I am acctually running + 5% to get the feel I like and for me i will try different paddels as I like a quite aggressive responce , I am not yet sure what to try but I have used KBDD in the past on a Vibe 50 and liked them.

The stock set up is definatly spot on for the sports / gentle 3D stuff and to be honest is really , really easy to fly I love Dave allready anyone want to buy a very pink 700 ???

ok to be fair to the shop I was aware that they were american servos, as in the make Jr 8717HV's, BUT i was not aware they were imported and that would affect any warrenty claim.

for my 2 pence worth but Futaba Bls servos as I have them in my rex 700 they are FAB.

Hmm? Correct me if I'm wrong but JR gear all comes in through Macgregor here in the UK, not imported from the states so the shop you used obviously does not go through the UK distributor.

Anyway even if they did the shop are liable for any problems with them not from where ever they got them from!! For all you know they got them from some back street shop on HK somewhere.

I think they should be named personally!! Bet I got a good idea anyway as seem to recall a thread about products not from the UK distributor network.

Ben you are quite right but I have had enough battles for one week so I will let some one else sort this one .
I all fairness they wer back in exactly 2 week's , not bad turnaround really.
