    It is looking good!!

I'm stil undecided weather to part with my beloved NSP to go with one of these.

It would purely be to build a new heli that i like the look of as my 600 is rocking! but i do like the spec and look of the Velocity.

Anyone interested in a mint yellow/black NSP airframe only P.M me.... it might just swing me to part with it!!

from what i have read elsewhere you will need to buy another swash to make use of 140 degrees. perhaps someone can clarify that before the time as i'd like to run it on 140 to compare it with the vibe i used to have.

also thats a fair size of ball links to be using. only the synergy is bigger from my memory.

      cheers

I intend to go straight to flybarless with it..have a v-bar for it. My only concern is spares.

I much prefer a supply distribution to a network of stores thus ensuring if not at one the potential for another to have it is better.

The Outrage 550 comes with a swash which has extra holes so will do 120 & 140 just by repositioning the balls. The 550 needs different frames for the 140 version which aren't available yet, not sure if it will be the same with the Velocity. Just had a quick look and the swash looks like it might do both.

Comparing the head on my 550 which is essentially the same as the Velocity, standing it next to a clubmates Avant Aurora, the heads are awfully similar

steve, i agree in that it looks like it should do both so hopefully a 140 change is easy to do.

            cheers

Something must has changed then because the one I just measured was the same size of 4.75mm. And the manual describes them as 5mm diameter balls.

                    is this an evo 50?

i have a hirobo link in my hand from my evo kit and it's 4mm. they were most definitely not 5mm as thats the size of the synergy from memory and those are noticeably larger as i have both here.

sorry to stray off topic stuart.

                    cheers

Yes it is. Part number 2525-001 Ball 5mm but I measured it at 4.75mm. RCPowerSupply.com :: Heli Spare Parts :: Glow Heli Spare Parts :: Hirobo Spare Parts :: Sceadu 30/50 Spare Parts :: Sceadu spare parts :: (2525-001) Ball 5mm

The hole in the link is 4mm diameter though.

i think the hole in the links is how they measure this stuff and not the actual ball size. one to clarify for sure and i'm sure someone will clarify sooner or later.

in the mean time how about we say it's same size as hirobo!

                        cheers

The important bit I think is they are made of stainless steel and should last a very long time.

Guys quick question as I am seriously looking to get one of these, is which Engine would you say the muffler the kit comes with would fit? Have they said in the specifications at all?
