I spoke with Rupert last week and I was told its a matter of seeing who's where in the que - so I presume from that going through the list of orders and and working through it. Fingers crossed that I made it into the first batch - no heli is so depressing :-( - plenty of other stuff and my kids 450 to work on but its not the same....

I am also hoping i got in there early, did it on the first day so should be ok, did talk to rupert about it a while ago when i picked up my 550 and he said i was high on the list so lets just hope the first batch is a good size. Now i have my 550 working well i am confident the velocity will be a great heli also, i am keeping my 600nsp also but will be passed to my lad to replace his standard pro.
Getting all exsited now for it to turn up

Just a little update guys, had a chat with rupert from blink this morning.
He will know more after this weekend as he is meeting up with the outrage people, still hoping the date will be ok, but still not aware of how many batch 1 kits are heading to the uk, i am high up the list but is all dependant on my position if i will be a batch 1 or 2.
They did have an issue with the main gear that has been the main delay.
As for people that have not paid deposits yet, Rupert will contact the individuals when he knows the batch 1 quantity and who makes it in to that list.

With a Velocity, Vibe and 600NSP between us we should be able to do a full comparison which would be interesting and a bit of fun. We run all the same internals too so it should be a fair comparison at club pilot level

what's that pile of bits...... an upgrade flybarless head looks like. So your V50 won't be all V50 but a slight hybrid?
Just asking as I'm pretty sure Outrage do their own flybarless head, so if you wanted to keep it pure you could have done.

I know it will be a while til the kit is in hand and built/set up with the system but keep us updated on progress

Look's nice Ash....I did try Blink for a search on thier website for flybarless and got "There is no product that matches the search criteria."....

So shot off to where I knew one was...

Would recommend that Blink get a couple of heads in and list them.
