  • Mine never had a hole in it either. I'm the same as liam, the pin screw just pinches the boom & the others clamp the tail mount to the boom so I can't see why it would need a hole in it.

    • I have seen some builds at the tail bell crank assembly having the linkage ball on the top for the tail servo push rod, and for the boom tail pushrod, the ball is on the bottom.
This is backwards according to the manual. Any advantages, etc to having it either way ?
      Thanks

      • do it as it says originally because if not the carbon pushrod will not be horizontal.

        • well, it is interesting ,since most of the pics i've seen thus far have it opposite from what the manual says, must be something about it ?

i'll just go out one more hole on the rudder servo horn, to make it horizontal.

          • got it setup, flipped the connections on the bell crank as I've seen many folks doing, also went ahead an moved to the furthest hole on the servo horn, in order to make the push rod horizontal.

pic was taken before moving the ball link on the servo horn.

              • Started my build this week. I've spent more time with a Dremel too than with a screwdriver. The right side frame did not accept servo mount plates - not even close. The cutout for the upper canopy mount bolt head was also too small.
