This thing is an absolute beast!!!!! Best yet from Blade IMO. They have made a micro class helicopter with an electric tail motor that actually works and pretty flippin well i might add. This thing has A TON of power Very very impressed with this one i have to say. Very stable, too stable on stock settings though imo. Full rates with 10% expo on aileron and elevator and -10 on the tail make it nice and lively yet still very stable.

This model cant really be compared to the original Mcpx. It is very different. Its bloody brilliant is what it is..... perfect size for indoors, yet with real power

+1 on bloody brilliant, the 130x and the mcpx BL now look after all my indoor flying needs

the vertical pop on the mcpx BL is awesome, its very close to perfection, from the first 5 or so flights i have had from mine,

Is it the same motor as the 130x Mike?
Does it get hot after a flight?

Is it better than the 130x is the question? if it is i might have one, the 130x is a temperamental little bugger, and fiddly to work, flies well though.

same make but not the same size, not sure if it gets so hot, but it runs real well

thats a difficult answer, i would guess at the moment as it having more pop power, and quicker collective too, but i wouldnt say better, i would say different, i will say its the best micro size heli i have ever flown.

i now think i have the perfect small machine collection with the 130x and the MCPx BL these will cover with ease any indoor or tight/back yard outdoor flying i will ever do.

i am convinced the new brushless motor selection for the MCPX is totally brilliant, and likely to outlast any brushed motor hands down.

for it to match my flying style i will have to calm down the stock collective throw, as its a just a bit too much for me to feel totally at ease flipping/rolling in a tight space, but at least its more capable than me, i can always reduce things .

i should say that all throws are currently 100% everything with reduced expo from book

also i havent had chance yet to get it to its full top speed in FFF yet either, but by crikey it does shift

I can +1 the Mcpx Bl is really nice, good tail (Alittle slow piro imo even when maxed out) but holds well. lots of power, will do piro maneuvers I can even piro tic toc it :P however i still think the 130x is better but if you have a tight space or just want a good laugh this is a great heli!

I have upped the rates to 115 now. Just to get some more agility out of it. Its a little numb otherwise. Not sure if going beyond 100 with rates is going to create any problems, but it seems to be fine to me. Some fast response blades would be good on this one. Got a slight tail wag at anything other than idle 2. But i only fly flat out anyway
