    • I have just replaced my bearings with high quality SS ones just as a precaution. My god, they are tiny! Also put a speck of thread lock on the feathering shaft screw.

10 flights now, and really liking it. Looking forward to bigger lipos though!!

        • You could try RC Bearings.

I got mine from my mate who owns a bearing supplyer business. Trouble is, he does not do mail order.

Just a thought, if there is enough people who would like the bearings, I could arrange a group buy, and send them out myself. I would need to arrange this with my mate first though, but if any interest, send me a PM.

                • I ordered half a dozen of these which arrived yesterday. I haven't tried them yet as I haven't had a failure. Anyone else tried them and are they as good or do they seem better than the stock fitted. I notice they are an open bearing where the stock ones that are fitted are closed I believe. Does that make them more fragile? Which way around does the open side go when fitting them. I was going to ring RC Bearings, but their number doesn't seem to be listed.

                  • Hi,
I got these bearings just in case. I have read they fit ok.
Had 10 flights so far without issue on the bearings, but I keep checking them.
Well happy with the heli. It flies great. Only issue I have is flipping it. It flips differently to my main heli's. Seems more of a sort of large arc to get it over rather than a flip. Sure I'll get used to it soon. Doing it over grass at the moment so if it goes in I just stand her back up and off she flies again.
Thing I really need is some batteries. 3 or 4 minutes x 2 just ain't enough flight time
                    Cheers, Rich

                    • Mine has just been delivered, checked head & setup in my DX7 then had a little fly (well hover I mean), crashed it & broke a link, so pop on a new one that came spare.

Time to have a proper play in the garden.

                      • I've just done an on-board video with my 808 spycam. Wanted to see if the MCP-X had the power to fly with it onboard...the answer was...yes...ample!

I'm uploading it to youtube now. Do a search on baldric450 on youtube...I've got to pop out so leaving it uploading. Sorry for the lack of flying skills, but I wanted to just experiment.

no crashes, just hovering for 3 batteries!
im tempted in getting the bearings mentioned above, but put off by the fact that they are open and not sealed.
ive check everywhere for the trex250 bearings, but no one has any stock! (H25060)

Have you tried making a new model in your Tx and setting up from scratch and binding?
