  • 150 Faults Page.!!!

Can't believe how flimsy the skids pins that push into the frame broke before I even got airborne, then the bearing popped out of the swash plate so there's two that need modding before ive even got started.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Looks like i may have to send it back no matter where i adjust the pots it just wants to topple, swash is level & cant see any reason it wont fly.

The contract is with the retailer... it's their job to rectify the problem.

I noted this fact before the Trex150 was released. Micro helis are a different market to kits and require a different business model and support structure. There seemed to be a groundswell of opinion that Align would somehow up the quality massively compared to Blade and therefore a local support function wouldn't be required. Without a UK presence like HH/UK, will Robbe step up to the mark and provide customer support? Are they even set up to receive and fix broken BNF helis?

No doubt the resellers will help to a point - especially the good ones. But this is the reality of selling micro helis, and judging from the comments I've seen on HF, on here, and on Facebook, it looks like the 150 may leave many disappointed. There does appear to be quite a number of frailty reports coming through though in short succession.

I have had lots of experience with Horizon and can honestly say they have been the best warranty repair company I have ever dealt with ultra quick service no hassle replacements .I have always sent my 130,s . 7200bx, receivers,. directly back to them not the re sellers.

How do you mean? As has been pointed out many, many times whomever you made your purchase with is the purchaser's first port of call. A trading shop cannot shirk that responsibility no matter what they would like you to think to the contrary.

Whenever I crash my 130X the bearing pops out of the swash plate too. I think that's a good thing - saves other things from breaking and its easy to pop back in.

Keeping hold of your cash is sound advise as i am disappointed in the quality of some of the parts comparing it against the 130x I hope upgrades start coming out soon.

mine had a duff motor in it wouldnt spin up just got hot and wobbled think it is dodgy wiring as it would occasionally spool up for a minute and on the occasion it did i couldn't get it 2 inch of the ground with out it wanting to topple over and hands off swash it just tipped backward on throttle on which bust the tail motor mount the second the blade tickled the floor. Iv sent mine back to fast lads and they said they would repair it. but not very impressed . been playing with my nano all weekend love it ! i just carnt do with it what i can with the bigger heli's. this is what i was hoping for from the 150 as all the reviews said it was leages ahead of Blades flybarless as3x

I agree that HH is the one to judge everyone else against but then again if you choose to send you HH product back to the shop where you bought it for repair there is nothing the shop can do about that but then send it on for you or replace it themselves.

+1 on HH. For all the issues i could list with my 130 or mcpx (and my Tx's as well). HH would fix any of them for free if i sent it back. Their aftersales is simply brilliant.

My only experience with Robbe was my 450's ESC which burst into flames and caused a minor crash. I only wanted a new ESC and it was within a matter of months of purchasing the model. But both the retailer and the company both showed no interest.

Like Tom has highlighted, the lack of aftersales service could be a real issue as customers will now have to fund their own replacement 3-in-1 boards and servos.
