£174 in real money then. I'm not sure they're going to sell a lot of those at that price point. Especially seeing as the none Futaba receivers are optional extras. I Don't think E-Flite are going to be sleeping restlessly tonight.

I suspect it will be a bit lower when it is in the country though. It's the latest toy - and will sell fast no doubt!

its interesting to compare those prices for a hand full to getting a full 700 size G4 airframe for less than £300 isnt it?!

130x was £155 when it came out so its in the ballpark, a tad expensive though if it is this price.

I think the thing to remember is that this thing uses proper servos, not the nonsense things on the 130s etc. Plus it's dual compatibility - a huge plus and probably their biggest selling point at this stage. It's nice to see that not all manufacturers assume everyone is running Spektrum and are actually doing something for us Futaba users for a change! FHSS will open this up in the future for sure. Perhaps even Blade will fall in-line?

It will be interesting to see what price it's up for here in the UK.
The 130x in the states is around $250 so not a massive increase to the 150's $280 or less than £20.

I think its a good price and should sell well - since it has a motor driven tail and 120mm blades, its probably closer in comparison to the MCPX BL which was £132 when it came out but this SHOULD be a lot better for the £42 extra.
Metal head, metal blade grips, proper rotary servos, out-runner main motor, powerful looking tail motor and a nice fiberglass canopy. Plus Futaba and Spektrum support to boot. By the looks of the main board (four prongs sticking out) it may even be tunable/ update-able too!

                    I'm sold already

#Im probably going to get one, the rotary servos sold me... and as much as I was excited about the "proper" Tail on the 130x, Im now starting to think it wasnt such a good idea, its just too fragile. A brushless tail is just so simple and reliable...

The blade helis need plenty in upgrades which makes them not so cheap after all. Plus even the blade spares are pricey IMO. Many of the 130x parts cost more than comparable 450 pro parts, and the quality is terrible.

Unless you fly it in a room shared with long-haired people/animals. the Walkera brushless tails would wind hairs round the stators, and it was often terminal... 8(

I'll be getting one, but not from first batch. 130x maintenance is really annoying, if you fly it hard something breaks every 5-6 flights, even with no crashes at all. If Align is more robust it will be a winner. I don't think the price is bad, assuming price here won't be calculated as $1 = £1 which is often the case.
