PHoenix flying sites

Hi chemicalbro.
Nice sites, it all adds to the depth of Phoenix which is great.

Three issues with the sites though, 1st is there's no model shadow on the Vegas2 site.
2nd and 3rd is there is no preview on the Tellingste and Luebeck2 sites.

Apart from that there fantastic.

I don't know why but creator is supposed to create the previews on export.
sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't.
ill checkout the shadow issues. do you mean there is no helicopter shadow?

Yeah there's no heli shadow, planks as well.

are you sure you've got shadows turned on in the display settings?

anybody else got no shadow on vegas?

Edit: you're right... the shadow only appears if you put shadow quality to lowest in the display setting
(i'll try dropping the ground plane down a little and see if that fixes it)

Yep shadows are turned on. It's only the Vegas2 site that has no shadows. I'll delete it and then reload it, just in case there was a blip in the download.

i've fixed the shadow issue...
like i thought i had to drop the ground plane a tiny bit

just unzip this file into the vegas2 folder

Deleted the Vegas2 site then downloaded it and installed. But still no heli/plank shadow.
All the other sites are fine.

and unzip it into
My Documents\PhoenixRC\Flying sites\vegas2

2 new more sites for your collection.
(converted from reflex panoramas this time, there's literally hundreds of reflex flying sites kicking around on the net so I expect i'll be doing quite a few more of these)

Meadow (really cool open field, nice and bright without a washed out sky)
VTFE (really small field in Germany among the corn, good fun this one )

install as usual, unzip into My documents/phoenixRC/flying sites

yeah i've seen the winter panorama... ill get round to that one...

Im in the middle of doing oldesloe in november tho.

it's more nice red tones and lighting


at vegas see if you can auto onto the roofs of the little huts
(make sure you have the latest version of vegas, posted above)
