phoenix creator has an issue with doing cylinders and it doesn't pass the correct height to the scene file.
so i had to make these by hand with skyline and cube objects.

wings on the cessna made a bit wider so they are easier to land on.

and a general clean up of collision objects.
delete the original Luebeck-airport file from your flying sites folder
and replace with this one (renamed to luebeck2 to avoid confusion)

Bloody hell Alan, Your getting good at this.

    Excellent mate, Thank you.

tim sorry bout this but I forgot to add a target spot and some more starting positions.
in my haste to upload the fixed collisions...

the link has been updated now with all these things added....
(theres even a starting position on the wingtip of the plane )

EDIT: just tested it all and seems to be fine.
so we'll call this version 2.00q (may still have some bugs but i'll deny it and say its your computer/router thats at fault )

How about blades? I downloaded the Radix blade from the Freak and they look great. Any one done/going to do some Maniacs for the Rex 600/700?

Think id class that as part of a scheme Shaun mate... if anyone does manage to do any them maybe add them to the schemes sticky.

thanks for the possitive feedback lads.
                makes them worth doing.

blades on the 600 can't be done in the creator.
if you load a model into creator theres a tic box that says show paintable models only. the 600 blades go invisible... coz you can't paint on them

you can paint some of the helis blades.... rappy 50 for instance.
(the 2 rappy schemes i posted have custom blades)

i guess it must be possible to do if you edit the pxf file and tell it to point to a diffrent texture.

Fantastic job as ever Alan, and definitely worth an EGS. No, make that an EPS

On the Las Vegas site, I managed to crash into the windsock and wrap the boom around the pole and it hung there (the heli, not the computer) BRILLIANT!! - please don't fix this particular issue, I love it when something like that happens, even if it is abit of a bug in the program. (I really miss the old bug in Phoenix 1 where it used to throw the bits back at you if you crashed on the edge of the water - it was great fun trying to get the bits thrown high!)

Of course I do use Phoenix as a serious training simulator, not a game

Thanks again for another great thread

Yeah, I simply edited the Raptor 50 .bmp file you posted earlier in photoshop to add my Carbon main & tail blades, canopy details and tail boom. I kinda assumed I could do the same for the TREX 600 on behalf of Shaun.e. I'll take a look tonight and see what can and can't be done that way.

Which reminds me, I must upload my "creations" to the skins archive. My first effort being a photographic rendition of the Raptor seen in my avatar. (The mainly white canopy has a lovely golden glow in your Vegas flying site)

With not having my laptop at the moment (back for repairs) I took the opportunity to fly on the Vegas scenery when I visited Midlands last night
A little bit of preparation for the week after next
                        Nice one Alan!

                          cheers Rob

heres an update to the las vegas site.
with better collision models and starting positions fixed (in multiplayer it was starting some of the helis too low and breaking the tail blades before you could take off, so thats sorted)

you can't at the momenht im afraid (well not with the tools the phoenix guys have provided us with anyway)

only way at the moment is to send your photos to phoenix and see if they will put it in the sim.
