I know its a phoneix problem but anybody that does not know how to port forward or what it is then this might help,

find your router and read what to do.

I'm guessing after 192.168.0. there will be an entry field. In there you need to add the IP of you PC, so that any traffic on the port you are opening is "forwarded" to your PC. you can find out your local address of your PC, going going to Start -> run and typing cmd then hit enter. In the command prompt that opens up, type ipconfig and hit enter. The top line thats says IP Address will be 192.168.1.xx (xx being a number which obviously I won't know as it's your PC and depends how the router gives addresses). Enter that number in that field on that router forwarding page you just posted.

Port Start would be 26500 and port end would be 26505. Where it says TCP/UDP/Both, I'd just select Both to be sure.

Save and close, and disable any software firewall such as Windows firewall and try it again.

Only need incoming UDP 26500 to 26505, no point opening TCP (or Both) as TCP is not used - the less open the better security wise.

I know how to configure Netgear DG834GT's and BT Home Hub 2's as thats all I have had to get it working with...

One thing to consider when sorting out the router entries is that it is likely your router is running as a DHCP server and as such your PC could pick up different IP's depending on what else is using the Wi-Fi (phone, laptop etc.). As such you may need to open this up to more than 1 port or statically assign an IP to your Phoenix PC or if the router has the functionality (not many will) to have the router run DHCP but assign static IP's to specific MAC addresses.

guys this is a beta and the network changes are being done as part of it, some updates may work, some others may not.

If it stops working due to a beta change, well tough, that's what you signed up for when you downloaded it. Just report your findings to Phoenix and wait for the next update.
