There are ways to reduce the lag but people are complaining that its there...

Seems better if you turn off the vSync option in the system settings (graphics) and can run the Sim at 120fps mode too

My main issue right now - which is rendering this as totally un-flyable is that the tail whips around almost at random on hard cyclic
I can't do rainbows properly but i try and do the appropriate stick movements to get a sloppy one the tail can just randomly swing around 180 degrees - reading the ever growing 'known issues' list on the site it suggests it might be resolution related

Wind simulation is way off too .... i turned it up to 25mph and could almost do hands-off hovering with no heli drift .... in real-world the heli would be uncontrollable (for me anyway) at that wind speed
The Workshop UI is really sluggish too and needs a lot of usability tweaks

I think the main positive to take away from this are that this was launched a month ago .... phoenix is at its 5th major version and realflight at its 7th .... AccuRC is very much a version 1.0 in terms of fit and finish but i think its pretty much up there physics wise .... so hopefully now they've got it out the door and can gather plenty of 'real world' end-user data they can now focus on tuning the performance, graphics, cleaning up the bugs you get from system interoperability and making it a solid product....

So fingers crossed .... but certainly it'd be nice to get some feedback on release schedule for updates .... its sorely needed

Seems like its know been fixed

        33. Latency in model response. Identified, two causes, a dropped frame in DSM-X mode and PPM mode was sending less efficiently than necessary. Also found the graphics thread was driving the control system update based on frame rate (60 fps or 120fps). Moved control update to the controls thread at 900 fps. Status: Fixed.

Had mine for about a week now. Installed it fine, did take a wile but no longer then some other program's with this amount of stuff going on in it, and so got it all up and running grabed a goblin 700 and went straight to fly didn't feel anything like flying was thinking oh dear what have they done it's rubbish so, but wait I'll build my own model how I want it and how my settings are I run (pitch roll power blades etc...) about an hour or so later of messing about I had a huge smile on my face it flys just how my helis fly. Don't get me wrong there is still a lot of work needs doing to this and problem need fixing but I defo think there on to a winner here. So we'll done so far accurc but please do fix some of the problems etc..
