Well... looks like my copy of Phoenix and my ancient dual core PC are safe for now then. I really hoped this might be something special. It may yet prove to be… i am just amazed by what i would consider an incredibly muted response to what was held up to be something truly different.

Tried it venlo 2 weeks ago and wasn't over impressed actually was disappointed, but just been talking to Ashley Davies at air and he said try it again, got to give credit where credit is due, was very impressed, the issue I had with the tail last time has now been addressed and it flew great, there was a lot of bullshiter twats mentioning the word game changer, which annoyed me, not at game changer level yet but has and probably will be the best sim on the market within a year
Ive just finished installing mine and setting it up with different parameters and Im thoroughly impressed ! It flies very well and no doubt its just going to get better and better .
I couldn't get the helis I wanted to fly to fly right. The Rush doesn't flip properly, the Goblin rolls about half as fast as it flips, but a change of heli (to E7) and a bit of tweaking of the FBL and it fly really well now. It just needs the governor sorting and it'll be the best I've tried.
All this about changing servos etc hasn't made a difference to me. I went from the Align DS610s (which I fly in real life) to the top MKS jobbies and it feels the same to me. I guess I won't be shelling out £400 for a set of servos any time soon. Blades/motor however do make a difference, which is nice. Now we just need more choice.
The graphics aren't up there with even Phoenix yet (close though), but well behind Real flight. The models on RF7 seem more lifelike and the RF7 flight characteristics aren't far off AccuRC anyway.
It has massive potential, and I look forward to seeing it evolve.
My machine can run it at 120FPS, and 600 physics frames/second, and it's over three years old now except the graphics card, which I bought last year for about £75, and then only because my 6800GT died.
It's an intel 2500K CPU (3.4GHz i5), 8GB RAM, AMD 7750 graphics card with 1GB GDDR5 ram.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
I can do some screen shots of mine tomorrow when i get chance, Robgt and Dave had been setting theres up theres for months now and I've just copied the settings and it flies very well to say the least. I run mine on bootcamp which an i5 @ 2.7 processor etc and its very smooth !

You can export the models in the 'my models' section.... quicker for both sides than screenshots.

Well at the moment I wish I hadnt bothered shelling out the cash to be honest.
What shipped is not what I was flying last weekend at AIR at the demo... to be fair I had been warned that I was flying a beta version rather than the release, but there must have been some major changes because I cannot believe its the same Sim
Im running a top of the range i7 processor, with 16Gb of nice fast RAM, and an overclocked 560Ti, so I really should be running on top form, but the interface seems clunky, and the physics seem way off real at the moment.
On the plus side the cow crap at beaulieu and 'chick's' camper van are pretty accurately placed.
The update needs to come pretty soon to be keeping me happy. They were nice guys at AIR so I do hope they come up with the goods, because at the moment the promised land seems a little far away.

Tried the beta on my i7... its running a GTX285 and I wasn't impressed response is laggy but it does work with Simstick... !
S
I thought another one of its selling points was that it had zero lag in the control loop when using their wireless method? Obviously by using a sim stick you are introducing a lot of lag. No way round it on Phoenix other than to remain hardwired. But i was under the impression Accurc was lag free?!
