Yes, at 8. It does smooth out the jaggies, but they shouldn't look like that in first place without AA. I looks like upscaled lower rez, they might be doing this for performance reasons. Anyways I am not bothered. The sim flies well, I like it. I don't like the fact that I can get tail wag thoOriginally posted by KevDavies View PostMichal, if you set the Anti-Aliasing to aa8 it should sort your graphics issues out. On my pc its quite jagged without it. I run with the anti-aliasing at AA8 and the flight physics on auto

Virtual TX TH/IU - open virtual TX and disable both pitch and throttle curves (leave the rest on, except if you want to fool around with tail gyro gain - I don't
). Use regular TX curves. Works nice.
I got reply from support they said they would enable 12s for Logos in an update.Michal

Noticed if you look in the folders there appears to be a model for a trex 450 pro flybar that doesn't appear in model hangar. Anyone found a way to access this. Would be useful as that's my real life heli. Also mentions on box about registering software but can't see an option to do that anywhere?.

there are only 17 models available ATM.

there are many folders in place including planks. non are accessible yet.

After about 4 hours of flying my impressions went from good to bad unfortunately. I have noticed a substantial amount of lag (much more than there should be) between cyclic and what the model does, no matter the settings (it's also there with default "Pro" settings and all others). It's on every model. It was really hard to notice before (new toy and overwhelmed) and even if I felt it I thought it was model FBL settings or something like that. But I've set up E7 in the same way as 3D settings video and proceed to do my normal practice routine which is a lot of stationary piros, pirouetting circles, continuous half piro flips etc. These moves require very tiny and timely cyclic movements. I can do all of them in RF and in real life. To my surprise I had very hard time doing them in AccuRC, even stationary piros were a bit sketchy. Now, I thought maybe this sim is more realer than reality or I have a bad day, so I took my nano and went to do fly some stationary piros and inverted pirouetting circles in my garden. Still can do them. Back to Accu, nope, rough like hell. The same radio too.
So, I thought, what could be the problem - I started to move cyclic back and forth in the sim and it almost went out of phase with the model after a while... There is a much more lag than there should be and certainly no models I own have this sort of lag. I'd be crashing much more often than I do. Imagine you are doing relatively slow stationary piro but correct about quarter a second too late. This is how it feels in AccuRC. To some people it may feel like excessive amounts of expo. After about 15 minutes of flying I noticed I've started to compensate for it and things went much better, but I really don't want to cripple myself and change my muscle memory to accommodate something which doesn't happen when I fly my real models.
I am 100% positive it's not my computer, radio, monitor, hard drive or whatever else. It's the sim. I get flat 60 fps and physics is on auto, oscillating around 400 in the HUD.
Shelved until solved.Last edited by AcidDrink; 13-07-2014, 03:37 PM.Michal

+1 on all you have said, i really notice it in tick tocks so i dropped the the dead band down really low and it improved it but its still there.Originally posted by AcidDrink View PostAfter about 4 hours of flying my impressions went from good to bad unfortunately. I've noticed an improvement when I turned vsync off and set max frame rate to 120 - worth giving a try. But, yes, tic tocs give it away pretty fast. I truly hope they can improve it, if underlying physics model is right (I have no reason to believe it's not), then it may be "just" their virtual FBL controller being bit laggy or something similar.
Got update from the devs, they can reproduce the problem on some of their machines, which is great, I bet there will be fix coming.Last edited by AcidDrink; 14-07-2014, 09:29 PM.Michal

i have to say i am very disappointed with it. this in my opinion is not ready for release its a beta version at best. its on a re writable disc and it is so power hungry its unbelievable my laptop runs most things but only just meets the specs i3 but with good nvidia dedicated grafx card and it does not run smooth at all. it has deff lag and had to turn most things off just to get one heli flying sort of. hope they bring out a fix soon or it is destined for the bin. i could go out and spend £700 plus on new laptop i suppose but is a sim with so few helis and not that good graphics really worth itLast edited by fatboyrob; 17-07-2014, 08:37 PM.logo 600sx V2

hi all
well i have put a partion on my mac pro i put windows 8.1 and it runs fine without any problems at all .I must admit they should have waited until they had more models on board i spoke to ash yesterday and there are some smaller models on the cards for the near future.
I am a newbie here and i do think it is like flying my own hell i have phoenix 5 also and again i feel ACCURC it is more like the proper job

A few impressions...
I guess i'm one of the lucky ones, in our club at least, with enough horsepower to run this thing at full res and max settings at a good clip.
Positives:
- Support from team is good ... had issue binding Sat got a quick response - although the response didn't help and i eventually (randomly) managed to get the sat to bind
- Feel in-flight is good ... Can feel there is more physics going on so i think it has the best ground-work of all the sims and best potential of them all given some time and care. Wind works well too
-Tunability - Adjusting settings clearly has massive affect to flight characteristics .... so this is a radical departure from previous sim's tuning ... you have to invest some time and care to get a model flying the way you want .... its a pro and a con ... makes it great for those wanting to tweak (something this hobby has in abundance already) but it also has a steep learning curve since we're effectively now learning another brand-new FBL controller. So once someone crafts a tuning guide and we develop some community knowlege on the settings it'll be great....
Negatives:
- Power hungry - needs a significant step up from its rivals to get working decent but graphics aren't improved over them in any way
- Installer is doesn't cope well ... first time i tried to install on a 2nd machine it crapped out saying something about incompatible version of Flash ... so i had to mess about to get that resolved + the mastering (or lack of) makes the dvd install needlessly painful - feels rushed
- User interface is neither intuitive or speedy - even though the sim runs ok on my machine the UI in the workshop looks very much up-scaled from low-res resources and still lags out now and then
- Steep learning curve - this isn't yet friendly for people not computer savvy - maybe a new feature should be to have some kind of auto-tuning button which can perform some internal calcs and do some performance tests in the engine and setup the sim for your PC automatically
I think overall this feels like loads of emphasis was placed on physics but the core engine and graphics sub-system require much more optimizations to improve performance still .... feels like it wasn't quite ready for prime time and the 'launch edition' moniker should have read 'Beta' or 'Release Candidate'
I am holding out a lot of faith that we'll see a steady stream of updates now the app has been installed on a wider range of systems and the feedback can come in. I think it has the potential and right ground-work to be the best sim ... just needs some fit 'n' finish polish
I'm hopeful and will perservere with it .... and i'm happy to support a british product and local engineering talent (something we do well) .... and i eagerly look forward to the first couple of bug-fix / tuning updates.
Cheers
J
