Hello to all.
I'm a newbie to this forum and pretty new to electric Helis. I have been building a 450 sized align with an align hughes 500 body shell. I fitted a 5 blade rotor head and installed a 6S motor and ESC.
During test hovering I was having trouble getting the gyro (Align 3GX) to hold the tail. I read up some forums and was advised to increase the headspeed to get more power through the torque tube to the tail.
With more power the heli lifts of and all seems well for about 30 seconds then it piros round in 45degree jumps every 5-10 seconds until i get it back on the ground.
Any ideas how to get adequate tail control or where I might have gone wrong?
Thanks for any help
Cheers
Stuart
