What did you make the FLIR pod out of by the way?

I would love to see more photos of all the bits being made - it's a great way to learn how people are achieving these things!

Don't worry mate, it will fly!! you will be surprised at how heavy scale models can get to!! Don't forget, I am removing bits as well as adding, so it won't be too porky!!

I made the FLIR out of fibreglass, had a ping pong ball before but that turned out to be too small, so I had to make a bigger one. Made a mould out of some silicone putty I have, and just coated it with resin and a few strips of glass. not perfectly round but it will be! I will try to post more pics of how I do things.

I also love seeing how things are made not just a "here it is all done"! Might do some more tonight. I'm away for the weekend till sunday so I might pick it up again then.

Yeah scale models may fly heavy but not with STOCK ALIGN running gear!

Yeah yeah!!Probably didn't help the whole wing was covered in epoxy!!!
