I am just completing the mechanics to go into an Apache fuselage and i only hope that i have half the eye and patience for detail you have
i must admit that so far your fuselage looks the mutts

You hit the nail on the head! Patience!! I only do an hour or two a night, as any more will drive me insane! Sometimes I get into a rhythm and do quite a bit! The worst is when you think you are done, you find more to do! This is taking longer than I expected, but it won't be long till it's done(about 6 months I recon!!!)

I also started on the doghouse.......














I'm going to glass this separate from the fuse and glue it on afterwards. This way I can "clean up" the inside much easier than if it were on the fuse. At the moment it's just held together with pins, so I can check it when I finally get the mechanics off Sao!

As i said yesterday i am just embarking on my first scale build and am no expert, this is all new to me! But what i do know is spraying full size and air brush
by the looks of the thread you have had that masking tape on the windows of the cockpit for some time, please be careful! too long and the glue residue is going to be a pig to get off of the clear plastic and you will have to be very careful what solvent you use
I would also like to know how in gods name do you get away with working on it over christmas, She who must be obayed would hit the roof

She who must be obeyed told me I can do it as we had plans to go to the outlaws over Christmas, but that fell through, so we had nothing to do and no Turkey either!! She was watching her usual crap on telly, and that's my call sign that I can carry on building!

i saw it in the flesh for the first time today since all the detail was added and the photos do it no justice at all!
