Another AH-1 cobra Build

I must be getting old as I have a hankering for a scale heli

My Old Trex 500 has been sat on a shelf doing nothing for a long time so I figured I would stick it in a Fuz.
I'm going to loosely model it on the AH-1Z that I like to fly in Battlefield 3 so it'll have a 4 bladed head and a different colour scheme.

So far for the build I have

Align Trex 500
Align AH-1 Fuz
Align 4 Blade head
Edge FBL blades
Futaba 9650 on Cyclic
Futaba 9257 for tail
Stock Align ESC (may swap this out)
Scorpion 3026-1600 to replace my old 5 cell set up
6 Cell optipowers
Full Size Vbar
Spartan BT dongle to allow changes to Vbar without stripping the fuz off.

I have most of the bits to hand now so should be starting the build tonight, going to stick it in the Fuz as is for now and worry about paint and mods later on when the weather is a bit better.

Should have some picks up by the weekend

I didn't get time to do anything to it last night, hopefully the paint will arrive today. I've already pulled off the exhaust outlets and prepared the gun for paint

I've been man down with man flu since friday so the build has ground to a halt, feeling a little better now so should get seomthing done this week.

LoL no such luxury here! Just going to use rattle cans! I only need to apply one shade of grey so just using trusty old tamiya spray cans.

I was thinking about grey too since I went with a 4 blade head. That version only ever comes in grey....
