Some... its like all of it for me .. I thought I had a simple question but as Geek says.. its a turned out to be a great thread, very informative even though its taking me alot to understand it! lol!

i would allways use a crows foot type swash leveling tool too, mark 1 eyeball can be wrong

I've always used them but this is something totally different to a level swash... aint it?!

There seem to be 3 ways of adjusting the phasing:

1. Rotating the top swash relative to the head
2. Rotating the lower swash relative to the heli (Moyesboy).
3. Aileron & elevator mixing

4. use a CSM CL1 to correct it electronically on the heli via a PC.

No bunns in my larder lol, thought i'd av my 2p's worth, and to improve my smelling n puter skills as thay are both pants! I use a crows foot type level to make sure the swash stays square in both planes through its full travel not just at mid stick thats how i was taught i belive this eliminates any rotation of the bottom ring in its stroke, also important all cyclic servo horns and lever resolution being the same would perform (translate movement) evenly. I am no expert by a long way i just like to try and help folk get there heli's spot on, Max enjoyment (i got my crows foot levels 500. 600.700 from fast lad) top tool.

A video of me flying Rexy, (the 700), well it is very odd (and not just my flying )
Looking at it rexy seems to be trying of both roll out of a flip & he also yaw's around the center,

I did set him up using a crow's foot type of swash plate leveling tool so there shouldn't be any interaction but I will check that.

I am also going to borrow my friends CSM 720 as I have never got my Quack to feel right on Rexy.

This is a good thread IF you are a brain doctor .

I dont think theres any harm in anyones 2p's worth.. end of the day, there could be a total noob reading this that will learn another new thing from it! I too have that tool for all of the Heli's and make sure the full travel is level from Mid to both ends of full travel using ST and EP's to acheive it!

No I understand the "Crap Building" quote and I understand you are joking

I set him up for 0 degrees at center stick and used the swash level.

then did the swask level thing at max 7 min stick and used the travel adjust to correct any interaction.

I now have my friends 720 to try on the tail as i will try that first.

I wish i could post my video so you can see (my pants flying ) I will try to do that later.
