Any other rules I need to know which aren't visible?
None that I can think of at the moment. I will see about adding a sentence to the T&C's to cover the bit about having BMFA in the email address. Nice to get an email explaining what the problem is though isn't it.
Although I couldn't find anything about bmfa in a user name I did find this displayed on the help page:-
Sometimes it helps to "click" on help and see what informatin is displayed. "Just smile!"
That bit needs updating actually, any working email address is now allowed as long as it doesn't contain "bmfa" or could appear to be an official BMFA email address in some way. Non ISP addresses such as hotmail gmail etc etc are now allowed.

It certainly is, which is why I didn't go off on a whole tirade of abuse as your doing it in your free time, hopefully the suggestion is seen as constructive

I don't think they allow underscores in email addresses, either. At least, I tried to complete the sign up form a number of times, and it would return me to it with no indication of why it failed to complete; however when I removed the underscore from my address it sailed through no problem.

There are certain words that are banned when you're writing an advert, as I found out this morning.
I used the word 'car' in my text in the context that 'this little plane fits easily in the back of the car without taking the wings off'. Oh no no - banned word! Changed it to 'motor', that's ok.
Yep, my mistake was saying the heli had a "cracked canopy"---no go: "crack" is banned!
Still, could be worse---I was half expecting "helicopter" to be banned...

Another one for you guys to watch out for - I am enroled with BMFA as Mr M J******, however when trying to register onto the classifieds it said that I could not register as M but had to use my full first name, when I put in my full name it did not recognise me as it did not match my details on BMFA. A quick email sorted it all out, but worth bearing in mind
