interesting to see where this weights in as their 500 bnf is £600-650 depending where you get it from, which is almost the price for the align 550 DFC - surely you need to add a pack but I think in the upper end they are less competitive at the moment ...

Going off the advertisement, I thought it was going to be some new, groundbreaking technology!

Maybe it's a new Blade heli that doesn't fall apart after 10 minutes use... that would be something new!

No doubt it will be in kit form this will probably help to reduce costs. The canopy looks cool.

Yeah right, going by all the hype online I thought it was gunna be a 700. And they way they were making it sounds was like it was going to be some new serious technology or something .. Not just a 550 that's going to cost over £1000.

              We'll see though.

                  Out come all the cynics....

It would be a bold move to go straight to a 700. Especially for a company only used to developing small helis. It's a crowded market as it is with loads of great models to choose from, they may not even bother. It's pretty obvious the route they are going though.

Cynics lol dont get me started.
Where's all the 500 stock? Still unavailable as of last week!
And already they are introducing a 550 which will use up even more resource & slow production of already launched models & spares. How long can this go on before joe public get fed up waiting for spares?

lol is that it, what a waste of time, will be well overpriced going by the money they want for the 500X, i know what i would much rather spend that kind of money on and it ain't a trex

IMO, It does look like a very well built machine and looks like it would crash well. But what sets this apart from something like a TREX 550 ?
