Think I'll be off to pick one up there's no way I can afford to drop £800 on the Honda but £60 for the Aldi genny to allow charging at the field is fine enough
At Air,we were surrounded by smelly, noisey 2 stroker smokers,
If we were running 2 strokers then we would all look like this
But without the smile!
And those where just the nitro heli Stunt Munkeys!!!!
good thing I got a big shed with lots to do while I waitfor the dust to settle..hahahahah!
building a turbine plank at the moment so very busy! its a scale 62" Rafale and will be needing my genny to charge stuff at the field...might even get this one as a spare its that cheap!
I know, I know; it's not a Honda! Unfortunately im barely flying at the moment and can't justify a Honda.
Has anyone bought one of these before? Any idea on fuel 'efficiency'?
3 year warranty too..

Just use your car, no initial outlay, quieter, 4 stroke, nothing extra to carry. That's what I do, my alternator is 80 amps @14v ish when running.
Personally I think too much is spent on gennys when most of us drive to the field.
That Aldi Genny is very similar to a generic one I have owned for about 3 years and just recently sold,it did not let me down ever.
I recently purchased a Honda purely because I wanted one,it does the job a bit better,it's quieter and not as thirsty as my old one but for the price I think this Aldi one,as was my old cheap one, makes sense.
