        Think I'll be off to pick one up there's no way I can afford to drop £800 on the Honda but £60 for the Aldi genny to allow charging at the field is fine enough

            building a turbine plank at the moment so very busy! its a scale 62" Rafale and will be needing my genny to charge stuff at the field...might even get this one as a spare its that cheap!

              Just use your car, no initial outlay, quieter, 4 stroke, nothing extra to carry. That's what I do, my alternator is 80 amps @14v ish when running.
              Personally I think too much is spent on gennys when most of us drive to the field.
              Just a trusty rusty Raptor E550 these days

                    That Aldi Genny is very similar to a generic one I have owned for about 3 years and just recently sold,it did not let me down ever.

                    I recently purchased a Honda purely because I wanted one,it does the job a bit better,it's quieter and not as thirsty as my old one but for the price I think this Aldi one,as was my old cheap one,makes sense.
