Mine are just one example of settings that work. You don't want to emulate a fixed pitch or co-ax, or you simply won't progress beyond basic hovering. Pretty soon you'll want to hit the idle up and chuck it about, so having 0 degrees pitch and mid stick and a high head speed will help that transition.
Yours is a V2 so should have the rubber dampers on the swash links. That was a key vibe point on the V1.
Most likely it's harmonics. Try adjusting the blade bolts, some like the blades loose in the grips, others tight. Mine are kind of in-between!
Also, is yours wearing the straight blades or bullet blades? Bullets are more stable. Mine gets a shudder with the straights at certain throttle settings but soon settles down.
Turnigy nano-tech aftermarket batteries are great! 300mah so slightly longer flight times and a bit more punch. and dare i mention this but extremely cheap...
love my mcpx, I flew it at the torbay club one day when most were packing up cos it was too windy, i pulled this out the car and flew it, everyone thought i was nuts!!
it is such a great heli and makes you try sh!t that you'd never do with anything else in yout fleet. down side if there is one..you'll want to go fbl on everything
Cheers!

It'll be harmonics. The MCPX gets them from time to time.
Like I said, tweak the settings to suit you. But don't use the original settings you used. If you get used to them you wont be able to fly the 450 without a massive relearning process. And you won't be able to do anything other than hover.
Tom,
If youv'e hit anything with it yet, walls, chairs etc just check the gear position on the main shaft, there is a flat that the gear locates onto. in a crash, even a slight one the gear moves around the shaft and becomes slightly deformed to out of true. Although I don't know if this is the same on the V2 as mine is an original V1, this causes vibes then shudders on my mcpx. I'm not saying this is the issue but something to watch for.
The other symptom of a gear that has moved is normally a lack of positive pitch as the gear has slipped down the shaft inducing vertical play.
TBH I find the curves straight from the manual work just fine - as long as the pitch range is based on 0 at m/stick. Flips roles etc, but can still be considered learner friendly. I have taught a noob with minimal FP experience to fly it.
the only crashes i have had is it dropping out the sky when i hit throttle hold!
im a complete newbie !!!
I found the manual curv's way to twitchy
then i found the ones i pasted as beginners settings.
But have now switched to the ones pasted here, which are still twitchy but its managable.
i LOVE THIS HELI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldnt fly at all really last night but after a couple of hours i was hovering and going back and forth, even using my iPad as a helipad on the sofa LOL!!!!!!!
This thing could be insane with upgrades........
Any MUST have upgrades? I find the batteries last about 6-8mins at the moment.
