You can tell when its winter when the petty arguments start again, blimey guys take a chill pill.

On the subject of mikado dampers, mine on my 600 were shot in maybe 20 flights, have replaced with standards and see what happens, by the way i dont care how i spell them or others for that matter

I've been using KBDD orange moisteners for ages, always worked well and lasted.
Recently used Align stock moisteners in a new Align FBL head and there was more play than a 5 year old Esky that had been in a tumble dryer.
                  Back to KBDD for me.

                      No, it's 'MOISTERS', not moisteners.

Ah, now you see, I soak my KBDDs in oil of olay for that silky smooth action. Hence moisteners.

I use the HS1291 Black things on an Sport 450. Some sites call them 80 degrees. Does this mean anything or do they mean the od of 8mm. Are there better things for a 450?

I'd recommend hard ones for FBL, reason being you need immediate and rigid head response for FBL system to work optimally.

80 degrees is softness scale, 80 is on hard side of the things, I think the hardest are 90.
