LOL.... lovely deflection again there Pete. I don't care if your childish... we all can be. I just thought it was funny that you thought you were SO right I wouldn't even be bothered if you didn't steam in with your bold lettering when the lad was just after some advice. Tut tut

Why? Because they work well .
My mikado dampers failed after only 3 flights (logo 600se) so changed to kbdd lime green ones, perfetc ever since, but still use the standard ones on my 500 & 500se and still going strong.

Agreed Ross, My new 600SE knackered the stock dumplings in 4 flights from new, I think the 690 blades are too much for them.

The 600 3D is a different matter, still rigid using the stock dumplings after 25 flights.

I won't be drawn into petty arguments about how a word is spelt.

                  Dumplings from now on.

                    On the topic of Dumpers,
I've had a problem with my Rappy MD530 suddenly going out of blade track and vibrating for no reason.
Checked everything out and changed a few things, still the intermittent vibration, then checked the head and found more movement than normal on the blade grips,
I've put new dumpersin (Blue TT ones) and will test it tomorrow, feel sure the dumpers are the cause, we'll see.

Soft dampers can enable your F3C setup heli to self correct and hover with increadible stability in a manner similar to having a flybarless controller but which all B test examiners will allow!

You can still go high head speed with soft dampers as long as you don't try to do anything too interesting, as they will allow a boom strike if you pull negative G together with back elevator (nothing so interesting is allowed during F3C manoevres).

I had a problem with my 600n self distructing and falling out of the sky during a rather furious tick tock - after only 16 gallons of fuel using the same set of KBDD yellow dampers! So I changed to the orange extra hard ones and decided to check them for slop once in a blue moon
I'm wondering why almost no manufacturers put decent dampers in their kits. They seem to be the first thing you have to upgrade on almost all helis - even the Logo which I thought from recent reports was perfect in every way
