hi ppl, i can't beleave the way there handling this, they should take some advise from horizon there grate at recalls, i sent my ice 80 hv back about 2 weeks ago, i emailed them last week for a estimated time, got no reply, relay wanted to know cos im converting my 450 pro to fbl and was going to borrow the 3gx out of my 600 if its going to be a wile. but dont want to canablise it if it wont be long, o by the way GIXERMAN it cost me £11 to send

Just noticed that fast lad are now selling the ICE2 HV 80. So fingers cross we should get ours back very soon. Better get cracking with my 600E Pro build

Fingers crossed. Wen u build the 600 pro put the tail servo in b4 you put the frames together other wise you will struggle to get to the bolts. Love flying it I think it's a grate helli.

Yep had this problem. Also fitting the tail boom mount was a nightmare had to loosen of the elevator servo to get it in. Just seem to loosing screws and re-treadlocking them all the time.

I been taking my time doing the build because it would just drive me crazy it sitting there without being able to fly it. Also promised the other half I wouldn't be upstairs all week building it. She doesn't know that I am waiting for the ESC and that why i have been taking my time, should earn me some brownie points.

We have recently starting sending out ICE 80HV controllers and are replacing them as quickly as possible. We are replacing them in the order they are received. Unfortunately we do not have an easy way to estimate a time frame. At this time the production of replacements is sporadic due to limited availability of parts. You will receive an e-mail confirmation when the replacement unit ships.

Would be nice if they let us know they had it and it was safe.

Thats all well and good, but it's not exactly fair on you guys that they are already selling these controllers through retailers when they havn't replaced all the recalled ones yet!

If a reputation needs to be rebuilt, surely the best option is to help out your existing customers who have models waiting to fly, but can't as they have no ESC. Seeing a CC 80HV Ice2 for sale at Fast Lads, when they talk of supply problems is an utter joke. My controller was brand new in the packet, I never even put it on the model.

They are taking care of their customers first, but you have to consider that Align is their biggest single customer so you can bet they wanted to make sure that Align was able to sell kits ASAP.

Following that, getting product back in the retail channel took only a small % of the boards they are producing.

I'd expect the main limitation on the returns to be the staff they have doing that work, not the availability of product.

Mine was sign for at cc in states on 12th, never got email confirming receipt but did get a response to an email this week claiming a 15 day turnaround so we shall see

While I agree to a point, seeing them in stock while they are waiting for theirs to be returned is of no consolation!

I don't really have a problem with them being in the kits. Fair play, they have a big customer to keep happy. What I'm talking about is the fact that I can buy just the ESC at Fast Lads. There is no excuse for this. If they have enough knocking about to sell seperately, where the hell is mine, and why am I still waiting. I guess they have my money already, so more fool me.
