Bugger...........and I thought the only thing which would delay the maiden of my 600e Pro would be waiting for the lipo's to arrive. Not even mounted it on the heli yet !!!

I knew I would regret selling my 500, I'm guessing it's going to be weeks before my ESC comes back ??.
    Cheers,
    Simon

Castle Ice melts - this is gonna cost them very dear, shame because they are a great controller when not on fire.

It would be great if there weren't those reports of updated ESCs going up in smoke instantly at IRCHA.... Doesn't inspire confidence that they've solved the root cause of the problem does it.

At least they are trying to do something about it. European repair centre is great, wish it had existed a couple of months ago when my ICE 100A exploded.

Just noticed I have the support notification email from castle,

We understand that you may not wish to return your controller. Those that have served you well are likely to continue doing so; however, controllers that you may have recently purchased should be assumed to be assembled with the problem components.

I bought a HV80 about 1 year ago, so does that count as recent or not?

                        Tim.

If they have admitted there is a problem by recalling units then they should be responsible for the cost of collection and delivery shouldn't they? After all this is why manufacturers have product insurance...

My new 700e had been gathering dust for over a month while I wait for my fixed 120 HV to return. It arrived Friday and now I'm told the fixed V3 is still no good.

I'll have to send it back again.

How long will this second recall take and will it b fixed this time

                            Not happy

Can I just get my money back and go elsewhere

                              Hey.

So you got yours back and were contacted again saying it needs to go back?
I'm still awaiting mine, but I am sure in light of what's gone on now I'm not going to see it until V4.

I must admit, if I had an option of my money back I probably would. Not because I didn't like the esc, as it worked well for me, but just to fly my 700 again.
                              .
