I wouldnt touch any CC product after reading all this. I have no trust in their products. I would pay the extra money and get Kontroniks.

Most cant stretch to a KT though thats the trouble. The Scorpion range is a better alternative atm for price as well as the YGE tends to work out the same once you get a comaparable BEC but many prefer an external BEC.

RM consider the item lost after 15 working days I believe so fingers crossed, as long as it was covered for the full value and you have an invoice to prove its value and proof of postage then you should be fine.

It will be interesting to see what happens to CC in the next 6 months as given the recent issues with what seems to be a vast proportion of their product line the market must have lost faith and they will haemorrhage money on the recall with little income from sales....

I think they pretty much have had the issue since release, they're just saying this as a excuse to make it not sound so bad.

The sad thing is many people who do not look online won't see this safety notice.

I sent an email to CC last week asking exactly that, and had no reply, so not sure. According to Logic RC's site it's them, but then I read that FL are for the Heli stuff (but if that's the case, why do Logic RC also list all the Heli stuff?), so who knows.

So you got yours back and were contacted again saying it needs to go back?
I'm still awaiting mine, but I am sure in light of what's gone on now I'm not going to see it until V4.

I must admit, if I had an option of my money back I probably would. Not because I didn't like the esc, as it worked well for me, but just to fly my 700 again.

Got my V3 back from CC in USA on Friday after sending it to them on 20 July

All ready to fly my 700 this weekend then my mate pointed me to a post on RCG saying the V3 wasn't fixed

Tbh I've supported Castle in all this but to send out so called fixed controllers without fully testing them is unforgivable

I'm not sure what to do now. I can see the V4's taking months to get back to us if we send our controllers back. I can also see CC going under if things get worse

Just wish I could get some form of refund to put towards a very expensive Kontrinics Esc

So what I do ? do I ground my heli, as I cant afford to replace the ESC and I cant risk flying it ? . If I send it back and CC goes tits up then Ive lost a lump of cash anyways but if I dont send it back then is a ticking bomb ????????????? without a tick LOL

I very much doubt CC will be going anywhere, hope I'm not wrong though.

Personally, I would ground the Heli.
