I would think you could re-programme the start to something not as soft. It can be a good thing sometimes but I find a really slow start a bit tedious. Conversely I need to go through the programming on a CC Phoenix on a 450 I have to something less abrupt, it's silly fast at the moment.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

Id say depends were your flyin skill is at.......if your still early on in your flying id hold off spending money or buy more packs for the Atom.....there is nothing better than maximum amount of stick time.....
If you really want to buy something...id get the Vbar....if your going to stick with electric then get the mini blue V5 as you can go 90 size electric.....if its possible youll have a nitro any time soon....get the full size vbar....

Not too sure about what level flying your at Kev, but I get the impression your head is full of what gear/equipment to get next, instead of getting out there and flying what you have got.
No point having all the gear if you haven't had any stick time m8
Just tell me to shut up if I've got the wrong impression though eh!

Give me the money and then I will release it back strictly for the purchase of heli related items at a later date.Originally posted by challis349 View Postno, your right, problem is, I must spend it on something before the wife does!!

Buy your self some FL vouchers if you can't decide on what to get, that way the misses can't spend the money (unless FL stock womens shoes?)
As long as the vouchers don't expire quickly!

OK, Get the Atom flying first, and then if you must spend some money, spend it on lipos and crash spares
But whatever you do, get some stick time in Lol, otherwise the whole exercise and possession of whatever equipment you've got is just pointless

Having fbl wont help teach you to fly. Flying and stick time plus those inevitable crashes and repairs will teach you to fly.Originally posted by challis349 View Postwill just get the wife to buy me fbl stuff for my bday in may lol
All I'm trying to say here is, spend your money on getting one good heli in the air and keeping it airworthy. Forget all the shiny new toys on the market. Learn to fly first. It is what the hobby's all about after all, and from my point of view, far outweighs the desire for the latest tech
You can go spend your hard earned on tech once you've reached a stage where your flying with confidence and you feel you need to move on.
In the mean time, you've just gotta go fly m8. Just my 2p

I'd be wary of the CCs after all the recent stories of them going up in smoke.Originally posted by challis349 View PostJust a quick question, what size esc would I need for a 1080kv motor running 6s, do I want a 60 or a 75
