Hi.
I have been using Sanwa gear from the year of dot, but as of late been having trouble finding local stockists for bits and bobs.On moving on to helicopters and a Sanwa RD 6000 and being a bit behind the door in computer radios to the extent I was flying as in fixed wing, I sought some advice from my local model store on how to set the radio up, only to be told he was not familiar with Sanwa and did not know too much about them.I then made up my mind on a complete change and began enquiring what would be the most suitable choice. On having a good look at the specs of the main vendors, I decided on the JR 8310 ADT which seemed to offer about as much as anyone could possibly need apart from those nice sexy looks, so I promptly threw my fantastic plastic at one and became the proud owner of a new JR radio.Oh dear,on going to my local model shop for the necarssary crystal so I could fire the thing up I was informed that I should be so lucky, as JR might be the choice of the north, but Futaba was the flavour down south,so now I start all over again, and I am still waiting for crystals I ordered two weeks ago to arrive, and to top that the model shop assistant said if I had stuck with Sanwa he could have helped me, but he did not know where to begin with JR. If anyone out there can give me a few words of consolation, I will be most grateful, but please be honest and tell me" HAVE I DONE THE RIGHT THING."
