Personaly Philimon I think you made a blinding decision
in buying the Raptor 50 Titan. I need a 50 size of something & I'm beggered if I know what yet but I may even be joining you, as its better the devil you know than the one you dont & I've had a few Raptors & enjoyed them all.
I have been looking at the Knights also but cant bring myself to buy one because of what Raptor50luvver says about his experiences! I also here horror stories of stripped gear trains sticking blade grips & auto hubs. What with that & the fact my local shop doesnt stock the spares & it is looking prety grim for the Knight, no matter how much some people on this forum praise it up it just aint gonna happen.

I seem to recall a lot of hassle with the knights sports a while back freindships almost broke people leaving clubs,
And from what ive seen these problems still havent been fully sorted and the knights still not in full flying condition,
I brought the titan because my local store stocks the parts and there just seemed to be to many probs with the knight at the moment certain people can say what they like and slag the raptor all day long but they are being payed to promote the knight and have a close circle of friends doing the same even when there own models have had problems,

i just wonder how many people on here actualy own a titan that dont say anything or get involved in the dscussions maybe there should be a poll about that,

I just walked out of my LMS with a 9254 servo for the tail. So my setup would be
TT 50 Titan
OS 50 Hyper
4 x 3152 on cyclic & trottle
1 x 401/9254 on rudder
1 x Jeti PPM RX

I told myself after my first experience with a heli that I was not going to try and save a few £££ by going cheap. Sometimes, its just not worth it. The only question I have is about the RX. There is no failsafe function as such, but the Jeti does have a micro-processor filtering function that masks interference

:roOne thing about me that people who know me understand is i will say what i think whether its good or bad,i am sposored by nobody every single thing i own i have paid for myself..If a product is good i will say so,if its crap i will rip in to it big time

My views on the products i know and own are as follows

CSM Ok but always gave me aggro and were inconsistent never buy one again

Futaba Blinding gyros and servos my only choice now

JR servos dear and gyros over complex

Spektrum Shit hot,,say no more

Sceadu Evo 50 Great machine,love the look,good price but weak frames and gearset

Thunder Tiger Raptors Had loads of these,,all fly well but they are getting long in the tooth,TT are not properly upgrading it and will lose ground to other makers but i dont care really,, I own a Titan but its my worst flying heli but i would buy other TT products in the future if they release something interesting

Knights Owned a Pro which was ex MHW and was butchered,not the models fault just the pillock who used it before me,sold on now.. 2 Knight Sports on my fleet and they have been Bastards but in all fairness they were both from the first batch and the problems were isolated to 2 areas,the fact i still own both of them is testemament to how good they are overall and to the way they fly..

I am dissapointed if people think i say good things about them still to protect fellow fliers who are connected with them,i will certainly rip into anything that gives me bother as people have seen and i aint afraid to say what i feel..
But i would not part with any of the Sports and hope to own many more Compass helis in the future,like i have said before,Compass and Align seem to be the only companies who really support their products


Align The most awesome helis i have ever owned,their first 450X was crap to say the least,,the stuff they are churning out now is top notch and i adore the 600,i eagerly await the Nitro version


These are my views on the current stuff i use,if my comments have put the odd person or two off of buying Sports then so what i dont really care,if anybody bothered to read between the lines they would see that the overall heli is near perfect

My loyalty is not to any company in particular,at this moment in time i am happy with these products from the said companies,but if Align went out of business overnight than so what,shit happens

What i mean is i dont talk any product up all the time i give a fair assesment,if i say something is giving me trouble then i have good reason to be complaining but i hope people take in to account this fact when i am saying the product is Ok overall and understand that i am not just saying what i say to annoy or stick up for somebody

I found my 1st Raptor was replace with sceadu's but after flying the sport, the only thing I can say it just makes the flying so much easier.

The sport I’ve got was from the 1st batch and had no problems at all.

Found if you over tighten the grub screws in auto rotation drive it got tight, but then it don’t need them it's only to help in assembly.

So I just removed them.

It just one of those models, I take out the car, quick check over and range test, and it flys.

Even Trvo likes them or is that just mine cause its free fuel. Lol

Agree that its Compass and Align are looking fwd, and they both have there place and followers.

Will have to be something special to beat these models, it will happen.

But the Knight 3d has it at the mo in the IC side and Align the electrics.

But heli flying is just brilliant don’t matter what you fly, we can all agree there.
