I've got items I've bought from here months ago still in my spares bin & never tested or used by me - yet.
Servo's, gyros, governors etc.

I've just fitted an Align 91H engine with Hatori pipe that I bought well over 6 months ago from a seller from this site for £250, not run it yet, I expect to do so after a week or two. If it works, as I suspect, I've had a good deal.

Not all of us are in a desperate rush to use the items we buy. I'm not excusing any other RCHA buyer or seller, just pointing out that other people & their ways do exist.

I also agree that the 'ramping up, or bumping' of key forum member's items for sale, or that they are an 'all round great guy' may mislead an uninformed buyer into the 'market stall' rush to buy mentality. Which is just plane wrong.

I wasn't going to touch this thread after reading it earlier, but I cannot hold off now. James, you are a nasty piece of work without a doubt, and very arrogant to boot. Dan made the sale with nothing to do with this forum, 5 months ago, and to all intents and purposes, the buyer (who wasn't even you!) was happy with his purchase. Dan has gone way above and beyond what should be expected of any seller.

As far as I'm concerned, when I sell something, the buyer needs to check at the time of receipt that he/she is happy, then I'd allow perhaps a week or 2 for them to have actually used said item and be happy with it. After that, then I would not personally expect anyone to do anything, and unless there was some special circumstances, I wouldn't do anything myself.

You need to calm down a bit, get off your so called "moral high ground", and while your at it, drop the sarcastic comments on other peoples threads - I don't appreciate it one bit.

Dan, well I'm glad it annoyed you as it pi$$ed me off more than I can type.

I didn't name you - you did, probably not a very clever thing to do, the fact you felt you had to own up makes me think you knew the radio wasn't right - I don't see how you could have used it with any model or any simulator without realising this, and if I had bought something used off ebay I would have checked it out very carefully before selling it on.

As to me being out of order - fair point I guess - if you know the full story (do you?) - as Dan has now offered a refund, there is no point in continuing this, so I'm not going to say any more on this.

Just to clarify this was not my purchase, but someone I know who was a beginner and didn't know better, perhaps I should have kept out of it - hopefully this thread made no difference and the outcome (full refund) would have been the same.

To get him flying I've offered to post him my spare DX6i first class recorded (at my cost and I won't take a penny from him) on Monday as a loan, he can then get a new DX6i when he see's one or new as he chooses, and send mine back.

Lets hope this is a win for good guys - I'd certainly like to see it like that.

TBH you guys need to chill the F**K down!! this has become so blown out of proportion it's unreal!!! Both guys involved are nice guys and offer people good advice which generally helps other addicts out. I appreciate the circumstance but for the sakes of a DX6i and this amount of trash talking it's ridiculous. What was that i hear "it's the principal of the thing" erm yeah exactly, now realise how insignificant this is!!
I love this forum but at the end of the day it's only what we as a collective make of it!

Ive had 2 heli's off Dan now,both were immaculate,like new(cos they were)

I collected them in person and found him to be a sound bloke,both times i got extra stuff not listed in the sale
