I can't tell how how much this thread has angered me. I've never been so insulted and the fact that you jumped straight on here without all the facts.

I didn't name you - you did, probably not a very clever thing to do, the fact you felt you had to own up makes me think you knew the radio wasn't right - I don't see how you could have used it with any model or any simulator without realising this, and if I had bought something used off ebay I would have checked it out very carefully before selling it on.

As to me being out of order - fair point I guess - if you know the full story (do you?) - as Dan has now offered a refund, there is no point in continuing this, so I'm not going to say any more on this.

Just to clarify this was not my purchase, but someone I know who was a beginner and didn't know better, perhaps I should have kept out of it - hopefully this thread made no difference and the outcome (full refund) would have been the same.

To get him flying I've offered to post him my spare DX6i first class recorded (at my cost and I won't take a penny from him) on Monday as a loan, he can then get a new DX6i when he see's one or new as he chooses, and send mine back.

Lets hope this is a win for good guys - I'd certainly like to see it like that.

Get off your high and mighty soap box for a minute and realise a few things:

1. The sale was a private sale in no way related to this site. YOU made people on this site aware of this. You expected me not to reply? Get real. I have nothing to hide hence I made myself known.

2. The sale was closed 5 months ago. I had every right to refuse any sort of compensation but as a good will gesture, I have paid the repair bill.

3. If the Tx was so badly damaged, how the hell did I use it for 4 weeks with Phoenix and use it to setup and fly the 250? I even have video that I was using that Tx with it. I have no reason at all to lie about this.

He's got a free repair out of it now anyway so I'll leave it at that.

Next time think before you post utter dribble as you have done here.

Me and the buyer of the Tx have had a long email discussion and hopefully that's the end of it. I can understand it from his perspective a bit but for someone else to come on here and start moaning about it is just low and is something I would not do. Everyone's different though thankfully.

I've said to the buyer of the Tx if you are still not happy with it now that it's been repaired, send it back to me for a full refund. I can always use it for the sim afterall and it worked fine before this whole debacle.

Glad this is all sorted - frankly I think this is a great thread, and clearly I'm the problem here - I'll get my coat.

On another note, if anyone is selling stuff thats dodgy or not as described, and I offer to buy it, then JUST SAY NO as clearly I'm not going to take it lying down.

On the other hand, if you buy stuff from me and its not as described, then PM me, and if I don't refund within 24 hours then please put up a post exactly like this one and fire into me to your hearts contents.

I'm not closing the thread, as I like to see who replies which way so I can make a list of people not to buy from ;-)
