Well Tim - I must say I actually forwarded it to the other mods and said to them that your now taking the P*^(s.

You asked for a new username and I said no as its failed in the past and it was better in my view if you wanted to come back on here then you had to explain yourself as you where very vocal in insulting a few people and apologies - then take the flack and hopefully the forum would accept it and you could move on.

Instead you've opted for a less than productive approach by jumping back into the fire pit. I can only say that if your wishing to stay then apologies.
      Cheers

Why do we (i.e. everyone else except TimmyB) keep responding to this thread and others in the same vein? Why do we keep pandering to his attention by even giving him the time, thought and effort to post a reply?

Surely, if we all ignore him, he will go away and take his meaningless and unfulfilled comments with him. The threads concerning this issue will disappear into the black hole of the forum and peace will return to all things RCHA.

          Just a thought.

          Oh dear, I've just responded haven't I?
I try to use this approach all the time Steve... just wish others would do the same. Seeing as everythings public though... its a shame this thread can only be described as 'hijacked'. When it is supposed to be to congratulate the Stainburn lads.
Timmy my opinion is changing fast now and im starting to even think why i gave you any of my time when your insulting my mates outright!
Its all pretty silly now isnt it? Or is that what you want too hear?

Actually I'm better than TimmyB & 99.9% of all 3D pilots, but I'm never going to demonstrate my skills cause I cant afford the fuel! But I am better!

I can also drive better than Michael Schumacher & 99% of all Formula 1 drivers past & present, but I cant afford an F1-F60 Ferrari so I cant actualy prove that either.

But you're a friend of mine, and I'm not only the best 3D'er in the universe, best driver, but I'm also hung like stallion! (unfortunatly I cant prove that claim either)

Personally I believe this has gone on long enough, when someone starts to throw personal insults on the forum as he has , I am sorry but that is enough for me.
I think it would be in everyone's interest to simply ban him from the forum.

You don't know how wrong that statement is.

I have spent the last month practicing for my "B" test and can honestly say I am a much better pilot (Yes tonnes better) than I was a month ago and it was not boring by any standards.
This seems very true to me.

I practice maneuvers not really to become better at doing those particular manuvers (although that's a nice side effect), but to become a better pilot in general. When you have to fly a set sequence of maneuvers, you can't kid yourself that the mistake you just made was "what I meant to do anyway".

Unless I misunderstand what is required for the B test, I would argue that if you can't fly the B maneuvers, you can't really fly. You can argue it doesn't relate to modern competitive flying: so what? A /good/ pilot should be able to fly what is asked of them. For what it's worth, I can fly fowards and backwards, and even a little bit sideways and upside down, but I still couldn't pass the B. If I was truly in control I could fly to the standard required.

                        this is very true
i've seen a few budding 3d pilots who think their great but have no base control over the heli ie the heli is flying them not the pilot flying the heli
and you can see it a mile off
but at 3d they do well

the B only takes practise and knowing what the examiner expects of the pilot to pass the test

the best way to practise is after you have completed a B test move very well a few times is to reward yourself with a little controled free flight and then back to practising the B moves

I can also fly a little 3D here and there so can now add some precision into my routine aswell now because I have all orientations covered.

Yes Timmy stick banging and precision hovering has a place in all the best pilots routines so in effect "you" can stick bang but you can't hover precicely.

                          Who is the best pilot...????

You or the man who can do both.
Yes sorry Tim, what i tried to mean was relating to TimmyB, i won't find it boring, i quite enjoyed it last time when i was practicing the B test manovers.
Want to get this done myself now over the next few weeks, lots of optifuel spent on B test practice

                            • Congratulations to you all

The rumour mill at my club mentioned that we might all have to at least have an A to fly next year... Martin (Mart61) have you heard anything about this?!?!? Looking at the A schedule I think I can fly it all but nerves will be an issue I think I have not bothered before for planks or heli's as I have never needed it...
